Former Myrtle Beach mayor Mark McBride to run again

Former Myrtle Beach Mayor Mark McBride announced his candidacy for mayor this afternoon, saying he wants to work to unify the city. He said businesses and residents have to come together with the city for the betterment of all.
"I believe that if we work together, we can bring Myrtle Beach back to the place it once held and deserves again," he said. "To do that, we must stop the selective government that has taken place the last four years.".....
... McBride's announcement widens the race to four candidates so far: Rhodes is running for re-election, and challengers Keith Van Winkle and Bill Howard also hope to take the seat.
