Counter September 8 Obama Address w/ "Supporting Freedom" Video Contest
As an answer to Obama's "classroom activites" I got this idea from troy On September 4th, 2009 when he noted"
"On September 8, the U.S. Department of Education will ask students to respond to the President’s Back to School challenge by creating videos, up to two minutes in length, describing the steps they will take to improve their education and the role education will play in fulfilling their dreams. Watch this page for more information about the “I Am What I Learn” video contest for students."
In the post below by ArmorOfChrist777 on September 4th,
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/105655#comment-1153496 that they are going to make them do lesson plans that are a little strange.
For all parents taking their kids out of school that day do these activities:
Ask and encourage answers for:
1. What is the role of the Presidency?
2. Why is there a Constitution?
3. Who were the Founding Fathers?
4. What are your rights as American Citizens?
5. Why is Liberty important in a free society?
What does everyone think? Record their answers and Post them on Youtube.
*Edited the Title of the article.

That wouldn't be a bad idea either...
Use this day to drive the creation of "chapters of Young Americans For Liberty" across the country.
My children will learn the value
of freedom. In their lives, in their personal relationships, and in their finances. I wish I would have learned it sooner. I think his idea is a good one and an excellent foundation for further discussion.
"In the capitalist society there is a place and bread for all. Its ability to expand provides sustenance for every worker. Permanent unemployment is not a feature of free capitalism." - Mises - www.mises.org
"Endless money forms the sinews of war." - Cicero, www.freedomshift.blogspot.com
Thanks...
Also, getting them to learn about the constitution and interact with other kids about the topics of freedom on the internet would be a great lesson in itself.
