All I can say is WOW!!!!

A lot of neocons there, but there was also a lot of freedom lovers.

"Tee Party Protests GOP, Too!!!"

WEST CHESTER TWP. - There was no shortage of anti-Obama signs at the Cincinnati Tea Party's rally Saturday at the Voice of America Park.

But the largely conservative crowd of more than 6,000 didn't hold back its displeasure when the three conservative Republican members of Congress gave answers they didn't like to questions asked during the town hall portion of the rally.

U.S. Rep. John Boehner, a Republican who lives in West Chester Township, drew catcalls from the crowd when he explained why he voted for the economic bailout legislation.

"We were in a credit crisis," Boehner said. "I was convinced we had to do something."

U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Miami Township, took heat for the same issue.

"I voted for it because we were in an economic meltdown," she said.

The crowd, which jeered at her response, cheered when she said she would not repeat the same mistake.

The Cincinnati Tea Party, a group opposed to what it considers wasteful government spending, held its "I Am the Voice of America Freedom Rally" in a large field in Voice of America Park in West Chester Township. People sat in folding chairs and sat or stood on the grass during the afternoon-long event.

In addition to Boehner and Schmidt, U.S. Rep. Michael Turner, R-Dayton, and former Congressman John Kasich, a Republican gubernatorial candidate, answered pre-selected questions from the audience.

..and they clapped when they said...

that they "would not do it again?" I really hope that the reporter made that part up. However, I can see the seal like neocons and taliban republicans doing that....can they also catch fish with their teeth?

I agree, no second chances, I am sorry I spent this country into a hole it can never get out of. I am sorry people are now losing their houses while Goldman Sach's employees got their pay doubled. Sorry does not cut it anymore, because the damage is done. If they were sorry, they would be taking that money back from the banks, they would be sending the FBI to arrest all the criminals working in Washington. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SORRY, WE WILL RID THIS DEN OF VIPERS!!!!!!

What arrogance! 'Not repeat the same mistake...?'

Not repeat the same mistake?!? Am I hearing correctly? Treason and betrayal and violation of oath of office, along with arrogantly trampling upon the constitution... is a mistake? And when stated that they would not 'repeat the same mistake', they were cheered!?!?!?!

Throw them out now, resign now, vote them out come 2010; no mercy, no quarter!!! They are playing the crowd of the gullible like a fiddle!!

If they are truly born again, then they should be fined for their damage, their part of the fiat money created, then sent home in disgrace to prove themselves.... in other words go to the back of the line and do the grassroots work needed to restore liberty!

BUT, get out of Washington... go in shame and humility. Be thankful we live in a republic and under the rule of law still enough to prevent lynching! Start over again and demonstrate your fidelity to the constitution and it's core foundational principles... just as we do not place bad pilots into the pilots seat, pilots who cannot even drive a car or fly a kite, and who think it unnecessary to even learn, so we remove them all, who so perfidiously have crippled our republic... it is life and death for our republic and future generations my friends... why are you clapping for these self confessed criminals, especially once they have admitted their utter ignorance... in war time such error would be dealt with on the front lines, 'without predjudice', no more, no less!

Well Said !

It is important for us to understand the absolute fact that a freshman Congress critter is far far easier for constitutionalists to hold accountable than a multi-term incumbent. It is easy to vote out and replace a freshman in Congress, easy to get their attention on important issues. This ironclad truism is deeply rooted in history. Facts are facts.

The freshman can easily be replaced in 24 months with a better candidate.

It is well known that once a Congressmun becomes a multi-termer, they rely on the vote of those who are incapable of voting for the opposite party. It is these weak voters who perpetuate the abuse of the Constitution. We must break that party yoke. Only then will candidates know that they had better hew to the Constitution, and honor their oath, or be replaced.

We must not hold party loyalty above the Constitution.
We must not hold party loyalty above loyalty to the Constitution.
Party loyalty has to be sacrificed so that we can access the full power of our tool, THE VOTE. We must be strong enough to vote for the opposite party.

Boehner is a bought man

..works for Wall Street. Take a look at his campaign contributors. If some freedom lover does not run against this a-hole in 2012...I will do it myself! Boehener must go!

* P.S. The Cincinnati Tea Party is having a function at Old Coney on Monday. Check their website for details.

not much on people getting to voice their concerns

Louisville Tea Party Rally had 5-6,000

The Louisville Tea Party Express Tour event had over 5-6,000 people which is the largest ever for the state largest and most liberal city. I want to cover the next Cincinnati, OH event, so someone please send me details next time in advance. You may do so at: Kentuckiana Grassroots Radio-kymattsingleton@yahoo.com Preferrably at least 5 days in advance of the massive rally or event, so we can cover it live for the radio show.

As far as I know ...

The next one won't be until April, but just google "cincinnati tea party" once a week and you will be able to get updates on a weekly basis.

God Bless.

So what?

Does anyone know why we have tea parties? Was the issue of the month health care again?

Hannity and Beck have hi-jacked the tea parties and put their left-right spin on them. Controlled resistance.

We need our own movement separate from FOX and the republican party. The republicans and democrats are run by the same people. I'm sorry to see RP recruit so many into the two party system.

END the FED before it ENDS US

END the FED before it ENDS US

RP is not recruiting into the two party system

He specifically endorsed any non-republican or non-democrat who adhered to his four principles.

He specifically said we needed to abandon partisanship.

He repeated that in his speech at Loyola this week.

He remains in the Republican party because of two reasons - 1) the realities of perception are that you are a lunatic unless you are in one of those two parties, or else you are automatically deemed "not able to win." 2) no other party is as well organized or has an automatic base of voters attached to it as do the Democrats and Republicans.

Actually

There were several End The Fed signs, mine included. End The Fed Chants during the March. It was really about whatever you wanted it to be. Pick an issue there's plenty to go around. Healthcare was not the only issue.

Our Tea Party

Last week here in rural Central PA , in Williamsport, we had a Tea Party and had about 4,000. It was fun. Lots of neocons however many Campaign for Liberty shirts. We made a point to stop and geet each other, many whom I'll see at Valley Forge. I'm telling you the people are certainly ready for the message of Liberty and Freedom. We had a March through the city over the bridge to dump tea. What a sight, people for as far as the eye could see. 99% of the cars crossing the bridge were honking and giving the thumbs up. Many were filming as they rode by. Many were from out of state as this was Little League World Series week and they were headed to the Stadium. Lots of exposure. Oh, and one protester was there. who had a sign, "Rednecks, Bigots, Racist." Guess that was the best he could do. Noone bothered him or made comments, just smiled and said have a good day.

Yes we took ....

pictures and some video....others were shooting video and I do expect to see some You-Tube videos of the Cincinnati Freedom Rally...check tomorrow and I am sure you will find some video. Many angry people...but well behaved....did not see nay "We are Change" people there....but Campaign forLiberty was represented....had a booth where people could sign up for info.

Youtube, or it didn't happen.

Youtube, or it didn't happen.

Any links yet?

Yes ....

I just got home. At least 18,000 at one time....but I saw many coming and going...so probably over 20,000 total that attended throughout the day. I agree it was mostly NeoCons...but I was wearing my Ron Paul Revolution shirt and everyone was nice to me. I was hoping we may have better speakers but..they were pretty good....The Cincinnati Tea Party President...Mike Wilson is a Ron Paul guy..he did speak for a little while. I was a bit surprised at how many elderly folks were there....about half...mostly worked up over ObamaCare. Our sherriff did speak and I was happy to hear him represent. Not many cops there...they bothered nobody and stayed mostly out of the way. All in all....I think it was a success.

And we won't hear a word

about it in the STATE MEDIA. Because we all know the 20,000 attendees were paid Republican operatives.

Would someone please put me on that payroll :-)

woooo NAZICONS ... gotta

woooo NAZICONS ... gotta love those guys =D

Bump for something

positive. Now if we could just reach those neocons and have them realize what is going on.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Believe me they are waking up!

A LOT of support for Rand at the Louisville Tea Party today. We EASILY had 2500 people there today and we made sure Rand's message got out. This isn't 2008...folks really are waking up to the message of Liberty! Grassroots Republicans are just as sick of the Neo-Cons who've hijacked the Party as we are.

Pictures? Video? Article?

????????????

I have pictures of my 18 month old receiving a freedom band ...

from his newly found 2 year old girl friend.

We made it a family outing.

Sorry.

But really there was zero opposition.

And zero MSM coverage.

I would be surprised if it is even note worthy for the MSM.

Imagine that ... A local rally with 18,000 people and no coverage.

LOL!!!

how encouraging... sounds

how encouraging... sounds like the number of people attending tea parties is growing, fantastic!

Bump

What was it like?

The size of the rally was awe inspiring.

The OHIO Freedom Alliance Booth was 100% Ron Paul. They had an Audit the Fed petition.

This organization needs our total support.

They were selling RP T-shirts. Not even the C4L had a bigger freedom message.

I'm not familiar with them.

I'll check 'em out. Thanks for the info.
