Is Ron Paul too old to run for President again in 2012? There have been great leaders in other countries around the world older than he. I'll bet most of us would vote for him regardless of his age. I posted a poll on Facebook to see what others think.

I trust that Ron Paul would have all the contingency plans set in place with the right people in the right positions just in case his time were to come while in office. I do not believe we need to worry about his age in the least bit.

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.
That's Ron Paul's decision
So far he has said he has "no plans" to run in 2012. And he wisely pointed out that nobody knows what the world will be like 3 years from now. Changes are so dramatic and menacing that we could be in a Martial Law situation, or a war in the Middle East that messes things up, or in North Korea, or maybe a nuke will go off here before the election. Such things are possible, if not probable. One thing is pretty certain: it will be a different world three years from now.
The age factor is irrelevant. That's Dr. Paul's decision. We all remember that Carol (Ron's wife) had some health challenges the last time around, and it would be hard for him to campaign without her. People want to meed the candidates' wife also. That's a factor and a telling one.
It is only an issue if he does not think he has the energy
to campaign. It is an issue to him, not to me.
His VP will certainly share most of his values so even if he cannot serve out his full term, the direction of the administration would be toward much less government.

Too many people judge others by their looks, NOT what's in their heart and the passion it carries. It just sickens me that many can't look into the person they see instead of just what's on the outside. You could see a highly polished good looking person, but on the inside they're mean as a snake. Dr Paul for 2012 ! He's got the heart and passion to move America the right way.

He is a lose cannon. I do not know enough of Gary Johnson; however, Dr. Paul needs to run again to really get the cause into the main stream. All of the tea party business, protesting etc. was started by Ron Paul. It bothers me when guys like Ventura and Kocinich are talked about in the same sentence with Dr. Paul. Neither one even approaches the good Doctor.
