How to Avoid the Draft Lawfully

If you are worried about your kids being drafted or even yourself there is one sure fire way to avoid it. At some point in the conscription everyone will be asked to step forward and take an oath. Simply refuse to do so.
Like all government decrees they cannot impose it without your consent. Do not consent! When they ask to step forward and take the oath they are asking for consent.
If you refuse they will probably usher you into a room and try and bully and intimidate you with threats of imprisonment and violence etc. into doing it but hold your ground. Chances are you will be on a bus home by morning!

Somehow, I think Alex Jones' major anouncement is going to be that Congress just passed a mandatory military service bill. I don't know, but this thread must've popped up for some reason.

I read about this issue in early 2008 after learning about the Universal National Service Act which seems to always be waiting in the wings of Congress for a time when they need to enact it.
It seems that you're right about stepping forward. If the draft people say something to the effect of all those who are joining today please step forward, then do not step forward if you do not want to join.
The thing that our government doesn't understand is that we would volunteer to defend this nation in droves if we were actually attacked and that is why the draft isn't even needed. The only reason a draft is necessary is to attempt to force people to fight in unnecessary and often illegal wars.

So how do you know this will work if/when the war mongers in Washington need more cannon fodder.
