There is a PDF of the speech Obama is giving to the children. Thats it. No socialist propaganda, no indoctrination, just stay in school, get good, do your homework, don't play xbox so much, etc, etc.
Wonder how many people have been following the right-wing hype that he is using this time to say evil socialist stuff to our children, when he doesn't.

Has Obama done some stuff I don't agree with? Sure. Has he done some good things and is trying to make things better . Sure. But when you got wing nuts like Alex Jones and his 'Obama Deception" movie already in the making in December of last year, before he was even sworn into office, thats total fear-mongering propaganda 101 to me. Obama wasn't even in office yet, and Alex was almost done making a movie about how evil he is. So go sell some more DVD's to your sheeple flock, and buy a big megaphone to stuff your ass Alex.

Local news told everyone all week that the school district would not be airing the presentation due to concern for parents... I picked junior up today and low and behold he tells me that he saw the president today... I was like WTF?? Wife said she'd call the school as she does not want me to influence my sons teachers opinion of him.... Go figure... What truly pisses me off is that we do alot for the school, and I mean alot... And for them to out and out lie to the parents is worse than the indoctrination to me... So I spent a few hours undoing what the usurper tried to pawn.... My kids only seven so what he took away from it was that he needed to succeed for his country.... I quickly reminded him that he needed to succeed for himself and his country would be proud of him either way... I didnt have the heart to tell him the truth as we already had to tell him about Santa...

needs to stay out of the classroom. Period. Him addressing the students is a way to get children to think that Obama is a "cool" president. Kids are impressionable, and unfortunately, Obama has a way of making himself seem trustworthy. Obama just basically told all the kids the way to take responsibility for oneself is to obey and follow those in authority. There's nothing wrong with finding one's own way. I know plenty of high school dropouts who got their GEDs and did just fine.

My children are MY CHILDREN. I will raise them the way I see fit. What the president says, or doesn't say, is of no consequence. The point is they are minor children. Any information they are subjected to must be filtered through ME...period.
If my kids are hanging out with their peers I make it a point to know these other kids and their parents. As a parent I have the responsibility to guide my children. When the president speaks to my child I have the responsibility to know the president.
In my judgment the president is not someone I want my children listening to...as a parent it is my responsibility to make that decision.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A Senate committee will drop a controversial provision that detractors have said will set up "death panels" for elderly Americans. Though the committee may remove the controversial language, the House health care bill has wording in its legislation that presents more concerns.
The provisions in question concern end-of-life counseling and they have been derided because they provide financial incentives for physicians to promote various options.
However, those options, in three states, could include assisted suicide, or they could include promoting withdrawal of lifesaving medical treatment or food and water.
The Senate has two of the five health care bills and the language on the Senate side is reportedly not as controversial in that it would allow patients to receive the end-of-life counseling but does not provide financial motivation to physicians who participate in Medicare to urge them to do so.
The language also apparently does not have the mandates that appear on the House side that compel those with a terminal condition to get the counseling.
Still, Sen. Chuck Grassley, a pro-life Iowa Republican, says the Senate Finance Committee will drop the end-of-life counseling from its version of the Senate health care restructuring bill.
"On the Finance Committee, we are working very hard to avoid unintended consequences by methodically working through the complexities of all of these issues and policy options," he said Thursday. "We dropped end-of-life provisions from consideration entirely because of the way they could be misinterpreted and implemented incorrectly."
