Ron Paul ~American Sign Language
For some reason there is no reply or comment option for me on the "Luciferian Freemason" post but I want to let all of you know that this subject has been beat to death already over the last few years! Very disheartening to see on this forum that this subject has come around again as an attempt to smear Dr. Paul.
Ron Paul has a grandson that is deaf. He frequently uses the "horned sign- thumb open" it means "I love you" Also he very often has ASL intepreters at his speeches for the hearing impaired.

Deaf Ron Paul Blog
Hi,
I'm the guy who runs the Deaf Ron Paul Blog and had the video of the "Garage Door Revolution". I often find that hearing people mistake the I Love You handsign for the freemason sign. There was a deaf friend of mine whose daughter was killed in a horrific car accident by a carjacker who ran into the steps of the house where the daughter was playing outside. The last picture of the daughter was of her doing the I Really Love You handsign, which is the same as ILY but with the addition of crossing ones' index and middle fingers to create the letter R. The comments that followed that story were sickening, as people accused the mom of teaching her daughter gang signs and all of the focus was taken away from the fact that a 7-year old girl and other children's lives were snuffed away in an instant by a career criminal who was released from Jail several times. The name of the girl was Gina Marie Rosario, and it was a huge story in Philadelphia for a few days this recent summer (June of 2009). So I understand EXACTLY where your frustration comes from.
Please spread the word to Deaf and hard of hearing folks you know about the blog. There are now over 125 to 150 subtitled and captioned videos featuring mostly Ron Paul but have a bunch of other themes relating to government, the European Union, and other topics. The blog has a searchable index that allows you to find videos based on specific topics of interest, and the subtitles can be turned on/off by selecting "Choose Language As" within the bottom of most of the video screens.

Ron Paul is pure gold-I have met him in person-his character shines thru in his handshake and the clear direct way he looks you in the eyes. The man is honest, upright and has nothing to hide. It is almost unbelievable that someone so long standing for truth has refused to become brainwashed and corrupted, though he has to work in the midst of the corruption, but he has proved to us all it can be done. My prayer is that others running now for office, who claim they will stand for freedom once elected, will make such a determined stand as Ron Paul.
Anyone who stands up for truth is criticized and people will constantly try to find something wrong with them, but Ron Paul has already proved himself over and over, so I say go elsewhere and find fault with someone else.

The Deaf "I Love You" sign is a sort of monogram of the letters (of the Sign Alphabet) I - L - Y. It goes back to the end of the 19th century, perhaps even earlier.

This is the kind of information we might get if someone would talk directly to Ron Paul BEFORE they post speculations. One post will say he is, the next post will say he isn't. The man is very approachable. Ask him.
Thanks for this important fact. To me, the horns picture looks like he is responding to whatever the crowd is doing. And, that could just be someone trying to get him to make that signal so that they can forever discredit him. I have made that signal many, many times and never knew it could be taken another way. His hand shake, could be the way he shakes hands, perhaps to protect tender hands, or whatever. It does not look totally awkward, it looks natural.

This same thing comes up every few months...so I guess we can expect to see it again around Christmas! To imply that Ron Paul is connected to anything evil or satanic by this gesture is really stretching for a smear!

Thank you all for the positive responses. Ron Paul has done more in his career to awaken people to Liberty than anyone I know of. It is not surprising, knowing his loving personality, that he is sensitive to the needs of his deaf supporters especially since he knows first hand the challenges his grandson has had to face.
Anyone that wants to suggest some evil or satanic intent/ link with Ron Paul is really stretching for a smear and I have a special hand signal for those that continue to bring up this nonsense.
