That if one wanted his stuff to stay up he/she should post on a closed forum or something, or all the rulebreakers should be kicked out.
But liberty people are a notoriously unfettered lot, and if the rules grow too restrictive, they will leave.

I have often thought about what I missed on DP and read the "recent posts" looking for buried treasure.
I don't have time today to look for buried posts. But had I seen your post first, I would have "bumped" it. You know I am not a bumper or a digger or someone who participates in those things, though I know they are important to some here, like you.

You must be having a bad day or something if I ("poster") upset you. I am sorry I ran over your thread, I did check prior to my post, but I did not find anything resembling my post....I do try to not be duplicitous to the side of taking my own posts down so there are no "races" for "best SAME post". I have posted before and my thread completely disappeared only to reappear within minutes, posted and "front-paged" by another. I cannot tell you how many times my "firsts" were "hidden" and "reposted" as someone else's posts. I've seen it with my own eyes....but I just deal with it and never complained because I figure it all comes out in the wash. I've been shoved to the side by many and often wonder what I did to deserve it. Wow I must really be on the sh*t list.
This was just my bad timing evidently. Take me off the front page, I don't give a flip. This movement is not about ME personally.

yes I do have a bad day...external stuff...
but because I know your good intentions I have nothing against your post being the chosen one to be front page.
I post many posts daily and some I forget to keep track of...but this one was vital- very impotant and I took the task upon myself to make sure it goes front page - glad it did.

DP Ghost Story
Just take this place with a grain of salt because one day....
early in the morning I logged in and posted something and then sometime later saw the words "Stop Posting Please" as the first "recent comment". I thought "who in the world was being so sassy" and clicked the comment to find out what thread it originated from. When I got to the thread, there we no comments. I tried to back my way into refinding the comment under "recent comments" but alas the comment "Stop Posting Please" had disappeared. Surely then this was a message to me ;)
So for a flash, I was in deep conspiracy mode. Someone clearly wanted me to stop posting!! Hee hee!
Then I re-examined the possible nature of the moderator/poster of the origin thread and figure he probably was making a "note to self" on his own post and then decided to not get started busting on himself for his addiction to the cause of liberty so he retracted it. I bet if I ask him he'll say yeah cause he's silly like that. But...
That was a weird moment on "the DP of my world".
We're not all moving in the same time frame and we're not all at the same level of awareness so this place can get whacky bittersweet but I stick with it and love y'all!!

He threw a party with his constituency over break for heaven's sake while all the other legislators around the country got shout-downs and hysteria from their districts. What a feather in Ron Paul's cap! I hope Ron Paul is floating on a cloud and singing the "Hallelujah Chorus"....he truly deserves it! :)
