The Will You Fight Peter Schiff starts at midnight tonight. Make your donations at Schiff For Senate
Schiff has said that he will definitely run if he raises $1.5 million. The counter on his site reads $963,280, as of 10:15pm on 9/8. Here's a little motivation to pump it up and continue the R3VOLUTION.

Has shown himself to be the best spirited candidate in my opinion and he appears to be much closer to the principles that I stand for. Is there a money bomb planned for him? Seems like he would require a lot less to be successful and he doesn't even have 100K yet. What gives?

This is what can happen if there are too many "money bombs" in a short period of time. Despite the Fed's declaration again today the recession is over, we all know better. I hope Peter runs and wins, but his is a far less winnable race than Dr. Rand in KY. I had to skip the MB today because I am excited about and saving for the Greyson vs Paul showdown in a few weeks. Many folks that I have spoken with skipped today's for that reason.
What we need to do is make sure we ----promote--promote..promote... so the same thing does not happen to Rand in a few weeks. With all the local press we got in KY about the showdown, if Rand gets trounced in fundraising that day, the press will write his obituary. LET'S NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! This is a great opportunity to show the establishment and those elitist Senators we really will put out money where our mouth is.

Today = unsuccessful
So, let's face it, today's money bomb is going to be at best a mini bomb. I shouldn't say it is unsuccessful, because we have so far raised a little over 10k for Peter today, but there will not be a great showing like last time or for the Rand bomb. I think there are two main reasons for this. Reason one being that today's money bomb was not promoted to even a fraction that the first money bomb was promoted. The first money bomb was promoted all over the internet, for a long time before the bomb. There was a very weak promotion effort for today's. Reason two is that this bomb occurs in the middle of the week. I think people are a lot more motivated to donate when it occurs on a Friday, instead of a Wednesday. During the middle of the week, people are busy with work, school, running errands, so they don't have as much time to think of this as they would during the start of a weekend.
Today's bomb is bringing in some money, which is great, but will not bring us to the $1 million mark. Next bomb we need to do the same way we did the first one, and then we will hopefully get Peter to officially declare his candidacy!

Why does Shiff place a dollar value on whether he runs or not?
I don't see any other freedom candidates doing this. Jess Ventura won a governorship on a shoe string budget. This shows integrity. I suppose if PS gets only $1,000,000 he will return it all back to the donors and not use it to line his pockets.

Peter is a successful man with a business. He has a lot to lose if he runs and doesn't win. You need money to win, if the money is not there, you can't win.
B.S. I would rather see an honest, sincere, confident, energetic
person with a single minded, devil may care attitude throw their hat into the political ring. Adam Kokesh for example. State your position clearly with enthusiasm and people will get excited, backing you with time and money. Tip toeing around on the other hand will only garner luke warm results.
