WASHINGTON (AP) -- Good news in the world's flu fight: One dose of the new swine flu vaccine looks strong enough to protect adults -- and can spark protection within 10 days of the shot, Australian and U.S. researchers said Thursday.

Australian shot maker CSL Ltd. published results of a study that found between 75 percent and 96 percent of vaccinated people should be protected with one dose -- the same degree of effectiveness as the regular winter flu shot. That's remarkable considering scientists thought it would take two doses.

U.S. data to be released Friday confirm those findings, and show the protection starts rapidly, Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health told The Associated Press.

"This is quite good news," Fauci said.

If any of you have any contacts with your local militia... please go to them and INSIST THAT THEY STOP ANY/ALL FORCED FLU VACCINE PROGRAMS IN THEIR STATE.... Either go to the local militia meeting..or speak to someone in charge of your local militia.. have them take a vote on it..or discuss it with their whole group..

All they need to do is alert the LOCAL sheriff that they will not allow this TYRANNY TO CONTINUE!!

IS THIS NOT WHAT THE MILITIAS ARE FOR ?? TO PROTECT US FROM ALL ENEMIES BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC? PROTECT US..AND OUR CHILDREN??

If if takes an armed militia to show up at local schools and to put a stop to this madness...then so be it!!!

Any one who volunteers to get stuck is COMPLETELY INSANE AND OUT OUT THEIR MIND!! (and if you have friends who think its no big deal... then have them see this video...or one of dozens on you tube)

I am writing today to voice my concerns over the World Health Organization and the federal government overstepping their bounds by planning to vaccinate everyone without exemption -- i.e. no philosophical or religious reasons will be accepted for not taking it -- and imposing fines upon those who refuse (as is now the case in Massachusetts). The right of the individual to determine what goes in their body is being seriously undermined as the vaccine as a whole is known to have unsafe ingredients and will be administered to people largely untested. To this I object, as the people should have the right to self-quarantine themselves in their homes if they must, but to be forced to receive a vaccine against one's will is wholly unjust and tramples upon an individual's rights. The sheriff is the last line of defense for the safety of the citizens of their respective county. And I would just like to inquire what Sheriff ___ will do to ensure the safety and well-being of all within this county. Thank you.

you should call them...and talk to the sheriff.

and ask what his/her intentions are should the gov. order forced vaccinations...

or if they have a plan at all...

this would shed some light on this situation.(in fact everyone should make this call to their local sheriff and find out their stance on this issue!!)

Indeed. Thats always a nice bonus. :)

On another note, an acquaintance of mine asked me yesterday if I would take the swine flu shot to get swine flu immunity. I said no, no reason to when you know about natural anti-virals/natural anti-bacterials and natural immune boosters that you can use instead. Plus, I said who would knowingly want to get injected with things like mercury, aluminum, squalene and who knows what other hamful ingredients that are in vaccines?
