Thanks to the thousands of Campaign for Liberty members who have tirelessly dedicated themselves to spreading the word, gathering petitions, and putting continuous pressure on Congress by calling, writing, and faxing, Congressman Ron Paul informed C4L today that House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank has officially agreed to hold hearings on HR 1207! The hearings are tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 25 at 9:00 am.
Your efforts have resulted in Washington's most secretive institution having to defend itself before the media, the American people, and now at a House hearing specifically focused on transparency.
This exciting victory is only one more achievement in a battle that we must see through until the end.

For some reason, we're expected to know every law that exists in America & in our state so we don't break it. We're supposed to know this when we're 18. There's no litmus test for them, as in the 10 commandments or rhyme or reason. C.U.R.E.
S. Hoyer was asked directly about this at his town hall meeting in August & he responded that he hadn't heard of it & it had to be explained to him, he said hed look into it. Meanwhile, someone in his District had a letter from him explaining all about it & that he would keep it under consideration.
His District office says that as Majority Leader, he stays away from co-sponsoring legislation. They are not separable offices, he has Majority Leader on his District letterhead & the staff in his Majority Leader office get handsome salaries, they're not DNC employees.

Yet another step forward. I'm pleased as an American and for that great man in Texas, our good doctor.
And say what you want about supporters of Ron Paul, they never rest on their laurels. So easy on the 'not over yet' admonitions, people. We're well aware the fight for liberty is never over.
The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.

when this passes the house, it will head to the senate. we need to keep applying pressure on getting the senate on-board.
How many bills have died in committee? Quite a few!
I don't want to pour water on this fire, but as troy says, It's not over yet. It could very well die in committee. The people in these committees are often CFR guys and to see the Fed audited is the last thing they want.
Still, it's alive and kicking now, so keep your fingers crossed.
And even if it doesn't pass this time round, the cat is truly out of the bag about the Fed; the writing is on the wall.
So
Only members of the campaign for liberty can revel in this victory. What an exclusive club. Sadly I am not a part of that top down organization so I must be an outsider not worthy of celebrating. How very selective.
I will still fight to end the fed. Have fun celebrating oh exclusive club member's. Some of us are still pounding the pavement without the backing of the C4L.
