If Republicans thought their headaches in the Kentucky Senate race were over when Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) announced his retirement, they were wrong.
Rand Paul, the son of former presidential candidate and Texas GOP Rep. Ron Paul, has crashed the party for Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson, who is widely regarded as the establishment pick to succeed the 77-year-old Bunning.

How about this KY GOP?
Instead of complaining about Dr. Paul's campaign and all the new activists he would bring in and energize for YOUR s---ty brand in a general election how about cut a deal? Rand drops out of the Senate race sparing your golden boy from having to run in a real election and you guys put all your money and effort into backing Rand for a House seat. The freedom message has only one advocate in Washington and I don't care whether the second one come to the House or Senate, either would be a doubling of our voice.
But I'm sure the Republican Party would rather elect one of their allies, the Democrats, than have to address the freedom movement. I hope Rand gets to the Senate and I'll give what I'm able to help him do that, but if we can't knock down the establishment this round at least we're landing some big punches, and that's a step forward for us. 2010 pull down the GOP, 2012 start beating both parties.

Undertones against Rand Paul are no surprise, hwever, useing...
these tactics only show that the establishment has much to be concerned over. Beings that we have been through this before with Congressman Paul it is crucial that the grassroots efforts kick in early and often.
Victory for Rand Paul in Kentucky is very doable. A key area we must continue to build on is finance. The GOP was not anticipating using near the funds needed for Grayson in order to win the Republican nomination. The grassroots should concentrate on the thorns in the flesh of Grayson. This will be priceless. Graysons father and his past voting records. Court documents on the estate issue needs to go viral. Hit hard and hit early strategically so they cannot come up for air.
The same for Schiff, Kokesh, Towne, Harris and others. Each individual person can make a difference in the elections of every level of government. Get involved in some way.

FYI, Ted Jackson is the "Bagdad Bob" of the Grayson campaign. When the Survey USA poll came out and Rand was within 11% with all Repubs and within 7% with those that considered themselves "Conservatives", he called it a "Pantom Number" in the KY press.
Of course the new poll came out last week within the margin of error with the first poll.
What a tool.
Grayson is way ahead in Louisville and NKY ...
If Rand wants to win he needs some independent expenditure ads in either Louisville or NKY. Rand will not win NKY so he needs to focus on Louisville.
Go Rand Go.
The focus should be on the TARP (Grayson's father is a Banker and a recipient of TARP funds) on one side and the fact that Greyson was and still is a Democrat on the other side. He needs to burn the candle at both ends.
Additionally, there needs to be a viral grassroots campaign effort completely isolated from the Paul campaign that highlights the fact that Grayson attempted to steal the estate of a dead man away from his daughter. This fact has been documented in court records. This is not speculation.

Here we go again... Let's check out some of the highlights of this article. The italicized words below are taken ver batim from the article.

How the hell does that characterization even remotely reconcile with what follows immediately in the next paragraph?
Just as troubling for GOP officials, an August SurveyUSA automated poll showed Grayson leading Paul just 37 percent to 26 percent — putting the insurgent Paul within striking distance.
Also, notice the wording in that sentence- "Just as troubling."
And, how about another big dose of bullshit here...
"The risk is underestimating [Paul] — not because he is such a great candidate but because he inherits a grass-roots organization from his father," said one Washington-based strategist who is watching the race closely.
Where the hell is the random, anonymous, "Washington-based strategist" who sees it differently, in a light that, for instance, actually lends even an ounce of credibility to Rand Paul as a legitimate candidate? Didn't happen to interview any of those for this article apparently.
And finally-
While Kentucky’s Republican primary electorate is conservative, party insiders say, it is traditionally conservative — not necessarily anti-government conservative.
That is, if you vote for Rand Paul, you are not conservative, but in fact you are anti-government.
This is the same style of underhanded degradation that was levied against the Good Doctor during his presidential campaign. Any mention of Rand in this article is in a context that is completely biased against him, defining him for the reader not as a legitimate opponent, but as nothing more than a well-financed, not-to-be-worried-about roadbump for Grayson. It's disgusting.
Trey Grayson, the candidate from Harvard
Make Trey the candidate born with a silver spoon in his mouth, the son of the banker who received TARP money, the candidate from Harvard just like Obama. Can anything good come from Harvard? Does Kentucky need to send another lawyer to Washington? We've got one in Mitch. Send Dr. Rand Paul to be a citizen legislator, not the choice of the establishment.

This Kentucky raise is WIDE open. Whoever wins the GOP primary, will probably be the nominee. Almost 50% odds.

I am beginning to detest this Trey Grayson guy, and I don't even have a reason to dislike him.
If Paul loses, I say just just burn the house down by not voting for any of them in the general election.
