He convened a joint session of Congress.

During that session, he addresses them, and then LIES to them. I'm sure house rules would allow for a member to bring a motion (suspending the rules if necessary though that takes 2/3) of an article of impeachment for lying to Congress and dishonoring the office of the President by doing so on national television.

With enough spontaneous support from other members, the Obama could face impeachment right there on the spot. Pelosi would be helpless to stop it. As long as the rules are being followed right there with the nation glued to the set, she could only make sure process occurred correctly.

Of course, with the Senate and Chief justice present, if there was enough support (but there isn't) if the house voted to impeach, they could have the trial right then and there.

Real easy. No need for all kinds of lawyers and motions of discovery. Simply produce the bill and you have over 535 first hand witnesses to the lie who are the House and Senate themselves.

If someone were to follow Obama and shout "You Lie!" every time he was guilty of it, it would be a full time job. Maybe that can be part of a new Federal make work program that hires citizens to follow politicians and shout "You Lie!" every time they do so.

Joe Wilson is right to speak out like this(and it took some balls for him to yell out like that twice when Obama was giving his speech), illegal aliens can and will get in on this healthcare bill despite what Obama says, guess this is just another deception from Obama.
There is language in the bill saying illegal immigrants will be excluded, but there is no verification system to keep illegal immigrants from getting in on it. Its similar to the law that sanctuary cities(for illegal aliens)are illegal. The law has no penalty to it, so its broken all the time. The same will be true with this healthcare bill if it passes in its curent form. Nothing will stop illegal aliens from accessing it. Dean Heller tried to attach an amendment that would have added a requirement to use a verification system to ensure illegals would be excluded. But when the amendment came up for a vote, all democrats voted against it, all republicans voted for it. Check this link for more info

The Congressional Research Service (part of the Library of Congress!) released an 11 page report on August 25, 2009. From the summary on page 2, 3rd paragraph:

"Under H.R. 3200, a 'Health Insurance Exchange' would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option… H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens—whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently—participating in the Exchange."

i was listening to NPR when it happened. their recording better captured the audio reaction from the floor. it sounded exactly like a school yard burn when you talked back to the teacher when you shouldn't have. or when you got caught passing a note. everyone in class goes "oooooohhhHH!" like, "you're in so much trouble."
