We need another plan for 2010 funding for elections if this is true

Guys...we need to think of another plan for how to get our senators in.

There races maybe more than we can finance at an equal financing to their opposition plan.

Senate races arent cheap. Obviously Peter claims 1.5 million to run, and 20 million to be in it to win he thinks for us senate.

Rand's race should be equally as expensive. Note the politico talking about the last US senate race in Kentucky.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0909/26890_Page2.html

" And Kentucky, which includes the Cincinnati and Louisville media markets, is not an inexpensive state in which to run a campaign: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and his Democratic challenger, Bruce Lunsford, spent more than $32 million combined in their slugfest last year."

Obviously 16 million in a general election and 2-5 million in a primary for rand and add in 20 million for peter is more than Ron got in his presidential run.

Even one of these candidate fully funding them is probably impossible by std donation methods to match a 20 million dollar senate run just from us alone.

Its becomeing clear that we need to put our heads together and figure out another strategy.

Bear in mind also that congressional and governor seats to win only need 1 million total each...not 20 Million to win.

Word.

Word my friend. Schiff's money bomb today was a bust. There's only so many times they can come back to this well. Most of us are tapped out.

agreed my friend

agreed my friend..

We must think of another way other than tapping people dry from multiple creators of moneybombs...its apparent that no matter what we do there isnt enough money to draw from for even one candidate at a US senate level. Especially assuming the cost has went up and not down.

Michael can you setup the old fashioned conference calls like we had in the beginning ...we need to pull everyones thoughts together and make a plan.

We need to work smarter ...not just harder
