I just finished laying out my plan for health reform at a joint session of Congress. Now, I'm writing directly to you because what happens next is critical -- and I need your help.
Change this big will not happen because I ask for it. It can only come when the nation demands it. Congress knows where I stand. Now they need to hear from you. Add your voice represents the broad consensus of the American people.

The heart of my plan is simple: bring stability and security to Americans who already have health insurance, guarantee affordable coverage for those who don't, and rein in the cost of health care.
Tonight, I offered a specific plan for how to make it happen. I incorporated the best ideas from Democrats and Republicans to create a plan that's bold, practical, and represents the broad consensus of the American people.

Obama doesn't give two sh*ts about what you think, want or need. He's not pushing heath care because it's right or good for America. He's pushing it because it's the socialist thing to do. I've Done A Lot of Protesting in My Life
Mostly anti-war stuff but when I saw the town hall meetings and then went to one myself and then all of a sudden the public option was in big trouble I thought, "For the first time in my life, protesting has made a difference."
It's probably no coincidence that for the first time I had sided with the more conservative side on an issue. Liberals can't seem to accomplish anything, even when they have the majority, but conservatives seem to be capable of gaining occasional successes even when they hold the lesser hand.

I just called the WhiteHouse number to his office. I spoke to a very nice man there. He said McHenry agrees with WE THE PEOPLE and no matter what they add or take away..McHenry will NOT vote for the Health Care Bill.........
I also added that Congressman Wilson should not get in trouble for what he said..because he spoke the truth..I was informed hes not..that people calling in ...clogging up the phone lines..and no one able to get any work done..they decided to drop it!!!!!!!!!!!...He also said that he himself, and McHenry and the rest of the staff felt the same way..That Wilson SPOKE THE TRUTH.

There's no provision for shopping across state lines, so these Exchanges will do nothing to hold costs down. If anything, the price tag will skyrocket like happened in MA.

Said I heard Obama say that no American should go broke from getting sick. Said that if the government didn't take half our money in taxes (federal, state and local income tax, municipal, county and school district real estate tax, sales tax, drink tax, gas tax, tobacco tax, etc) then working Americans could afford what they need. Said we want the communists off our backs.
Also said that the Constitution clearly does not give government the power to enact socialized medicine and the tenth amendment says any power not granted to the federal government remains with the states or the people.
