If you look at the public comments over at Jack Cafferty's CNN page and they are about 99% against Wilson for being disrespectful and inappropriate. My view is that he deserves a medal of honor.
The public reaction to things like this just reinforce my view that when we finally are propelled into civil war, that much of the violence will be between citizens on one side of issues against those on the other side. Look at the Sunni and Shite murders of one another in Iraq or the countless murders by citizen against citizen in Missouri, a divided border state, during the last Civil War.

This has NOTHING to do with the first admendment. There is certain protocol that applys in a joint session of Congress, that is maintained so Congress can have intelligent debate. Wilson's outburst during the president's speech was a serious breach of that protocol and can not go unpunished.
The first admendment doesn't allow anyone to say anything, anywhere at any time. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater. It will cause deaths and has been determined by the courts to be against the law. there are other things that you can't say anywhere, anytime for the same reasons.
We are a country of laws and that is one of the few things that separates us from primitive kaos.

Yelling fire in a burning theater is an act of safety since people would need to know. Calling Obama a liar in a political setting is protected under the First Amendment, and is totally within the law.
If you want the law to be followed (the Constitution) you need to sit down with the POS in the white house and get him to obey it instead of running roughshod over it.

the so called protocal and pretensions of decorum have caused such a disconnect between our "rulers" and we of the "unwashed masses" (did you happen to see the look on the Pilosimonsters face as this was occurring?) that anything goes as far as lying to achieve your goals.
