This story should be titled Associated Press joins Obama in the Big Lie.
Under the heading of "Fact Check" AP says that Obama is right and Wilson is wrong about illegal aliens gaining benefits from the socialist health care package. But in the penultimate paragraph the writer admits. "There's no provision for how the prohibition would be enforced, or any requirement for people to prove they are citizens or legal residents before getting health care benefits."

are using the House bill in this article. The bill that will be used is the Baucus bill in the Senate.

The bill contains no verification requirement or enforcement process for citizenship or legal residency, as exists for other federal benefit programs. The only verification required for the subsidies pertains to family income. Beyond that, as the CRS report notes, everything is left in the hands of the Health Choices Commissioner.
House Democrats defeated all attempts in committee to add an enforcement mechanism that would require proof of citizenship or legal residency for those getting subsidies.

You're exactly right. So now not only is Obama lying, this AP reporter is now in on the lie too. Wish there was a Joe Wilson type to go up to this reporters face who wrote that AP article, while being broadcast on a ntaional news station, and yell in her face "you lie"! Would love to see that.

I have a few friends that are illegal. They hate Republicans. The ones that are Independent or even conservative, will be easily swayed by this to not only support socialized health care, but to vote Democrat.
