folks i am hearing republicans saying they are willing to work with obama on government healthcare. Democrats are almost 100% for it. My senators and congressmen won't even bother to answer me back... are the bastards brain dead or deaf or just that arrogant or do they know something that is going to happen that we don't. They don't seem worried about their job. Makes you wonder..!!

I'm inclined to believe that "they" simply don't want to
"get it". For all of the political theater that has transpired to this point, on the referenced subject, it may come down to people (our beloved law givers) making a deal. Despite the economic ugliness that can be expected from any such "deal" or "compromise", those in congress know that they stand a 90+% chance of being returned to office, with the possible exception of one person who, having had his fill of Obama's lubricated propaganda, actually spoke out and called the Dalai Obama's assertions into question. He might have some difficulty. At this point, we can only keep up and increase the pressure on members of Congress.

And the voters rose up in righteous anger and ruined them at the polls, throwing the treasonous bastards out on their greasy asses...

The voters reelected all the usual suspects. Even this proof of their elected misRepresentatives' perfidy was insufficient to provoke even a glimmer of a voter revolt against the incumbents.
Too scared to vote across their party lines, the voters spoke - and said "Thank you Sir, may I have another?"
Congress could institute human sacrifice and orgies every full moon, and the majority of brain-dead, soul-dead voters would keep reelecting them, rather than let their "team" lose control of the ceremonies.
The imminent collapse will be painful for almost everyone, but it might be enough to wake up the zombies.
