2012: Preparing Us For New World Order

I happened to have the TV on and there was back to back programs on the History Channel regarding 2012 and Nostradamus. I heard a recurring theme among all the programs. Basically, when 2012 occurs either it will be the end of the Earth **Holy Crap!!!** or as a consolation prize we will enjoy a new beginning. They describe the new beginning as " We will not recognize America anymore" and that the world government will change and everything will be more peaceful etc. I'm thinking 2012 is B.S. Designed to scare everyone into doomsday nightmares and WISH for the consolation prize of a changed world. They will have everyone thoroughly brain washed expecting one of the two scenarios to play out. So when they take over the world and control our country it was written in the stars. Predicted long ago...predestined...
