A $1.8 trillion dollar annual deficit is indeed $57,0000 a second. But that works out to one billion dollars in 4.9 hours, not seven minutes.

one of the best I've heard from Rand.
Even though his economic policies would automatically cut the excesses of foreign entanglements, I've never heard Rand directly talk about foreign policy.

There is no other reason not to talk about it

unless he is doing what is politically acceptable. Maybe he is afraid that Trey will use the wars against Paul. He won't even respond to questions regarding foreign policy. I know I've sent e-mails about it.
From my impression of Tea Party activists, for the most part, they still don't get it. They talk a good game on the Constitution but ignore clauses that Republicans are guilty for. I am hopeful of Paul. He has talked about the Patriot Act, a subject still rather taboo. Until Beck also changes his stance on war I don't expect Paul to talk about it until the general.

In other words I believe he is playing to these peoples emotions like most politicians. He's counting on their ignorance on his position. However, it is better for Paul to announce his stance on foreign policy before Trey beats him to it. This plan can backfire if your opponent spins it the right way.
