The grassroots group FreedomWorks sponsored a march & rally in Washington to protest "big government".

Over 450 buses came with every single state represented, including Alaska and Hawaii!

I went, I am back, and I have something to say (as usual) !

It was incredible to be among so many Active Patriots! The March on DC was a spectacular, humbling show of the American Spirit. Thank God for this overwhelming expression of love,concern, and commitment to our nation's Liberty! FOX NEWS' report on Sunday morning of 60,000 was a grossly misrepresented.

The actual numbers released by the National Park Service were 1.5 to 2 million. The biggest crowd in DC's recorded history!

We have redefined "gridlock" for Washington, D.C. . This number was also enhanced by hundreds of protests and marches all over the country on Saturday,9/12/09, as well.

Stand against the tyranny which has invaded our great land! I am more determined than ever to help take our country back or stand in the gap for our children and fight for their future Liberty and Freedom! God Almighty is in this fight with us and He is ready!His angels will fight for us if humbly and repentantly reestablish His divine providence over all He has given us through our founding fathers.

Did you read clearly ...noone was saying he was there ... all the blogger pointed out was that the rumor of Ron Paul possibly speaking drove this particular crowd wild.

It shows they were receptive to him! I wish he HAD been there.

I was there yesterday as well, and was Damn proud of our fellow Americans. I know most of you were Pooh-Poohing this event, but it was a Great Opportunity to send a message to the Low Lifes in Washington. I expected to see and meet mostly Fox News Republicans, but was pleasantly suprised. I brought the subject of the Federal Reserve to anyone who would listen and many people I spoke with are aware of the fraud that has been perpetrated on the American people. There are still many who view this as a Republican vs Democrat instead of We the People versus Big Government and the Illuminati. I believe we have come along way since the First Tea Party's, myself included ( I used to be a Fox News Republican).

Overall, I would estimate the crowd between 1.5 to 2 million people. It was great to see the entire corridor between the Capital Building and the Washington Monument more or less full of people. Probably not as big as the 'Messiahs Inaguration", but very close. One DC cop I spoke with said it is the largest number of people he has ever seen. One more item I would like to say the plaqce was relatively spic and span, especially if you remember what the place looked like after the Innaguration (it was completely trashed). The CNN crew was hammered hard with chants like "Tell the Truth" and "Stop the Lies" drowning out anything they might been able to lie-errrr speak about. Saturday was a Great Day to be an American. Keep up the pressure, the cock roaches are backing down and running scared. Great Job America!

I just heard on NPR how Obama filled the Target Center with 15,000 supporters of his health care reform, without even a mention of the protest event in DC. Then there's this little ditty from ABC News saying that "approximately 60,000 to 70,000 people flooded Pennsylvania Avenue".

Just back from the dc rally

It was a lot a lot a lot a lot of people. Yes a bunch of Faux worshipers and beck lovers. I also saw a good amount of support for Ron. It wasn't so noticeable there.... but trust me the parking garages at the hotels were like a Ron Paul bumper sticker convention. I also saw some End the Fed shirts and signs, better still whenever I brought up the Fed with someone in conversation, mentioned the audit and even the possibility of getting rid of it.... they were on board.... albeit without proper knowledge of the scam that it is. I saw just about every major issue covered. People is UPSET. We have to help them. I'd say they are 50-60% in line with Freedom and Liberty .... we need to educate them and get them closer to 80-90%... shouldn't be to hard with the way things are. People are open to suggestion at this point.

The CNN team .... they took a lot of abuse today, deservedly so. but every time the guy stepped off the bus, or the tiny female producer, they got an ear full. Felt sorry for them.... then i thought about it .... nope ...not at all, it's not like they are journalists or anything.

Side note: There was a festival at the other end of the mall. It was the Black Family Reunion, step dancing, music,food, etc. I got some fish from one of the vendors..... OMG best fish I have had in years... lol wasn't expecting that.

We as Lovers of Liberty MUST reign these people in and continue to gain more. As much as I don't like Beck, he has gotten them halfway. We need to bring it on home.

Pics. Didn't post to many crowd pics as the low level wasn't to impressive, an aerial shot would be amazing. I did post up some pics of the signs people were carrying. Also the video of the "American" (not African-American) gentleman's song. had battery issues all day .....and they died during his song .... but you will get the jist ;)
