He was bashing the league of nations, the UN one world govt, Empire building and "spreading democracy".

I almost fainted :o

His pendulum has swung to our side only recently and after much damage. My mind isnt made up just yet on his intentions because so much poo is mixed in with his truth. Its going to take considerably more to vet him in my book. Atm he kinda reminds me of an MSM version of a professional wrestling good guy. He's MSM - and a house divided can't stand.

Those two questions that lady read, had to have come from Ron Paul supporters. I noticed he had to think about his answers, I took them as being a little calculated. He wanted to go off at first especially the patriotic one.

It is all fine and dandy to rethink your position, but come on, why did none of this come to mind before Iraq. I will still like to punch the guy in the face, but think he serves his purpose in our movement. The people he is turning to our side are probably open to a noninterventionalist foreign policy. You can say he is helping us now, but think how much he hurt us at first. He is still in the whole in my mind.

there is an anti-war crowd on the left, many of them don't care for the socialistic and entitlement aspects of the democratic party.

but their anti-war movement was hijacked by the democrats.

now they are married to them.

same could be said for tea-parties and all that bullshit.

we're married to the republicans.

THIS is why I spend most of my time bashing mainstream republican personalities. (as a registered republican, it's important that I explain to friends, family and associates that I'm not the typical republican voice)

I would go as far to say that we've actually helped REVIVE the republican party...once on their backs, they did what they do every single time.

hijack and control.

hell we gave them the playbook. told them exactly what they needed to say.

they pick up the playbook, pick out the pieces that will play well to the masses, while strategically leaving out anti-war stuff.

The Republicans like to say that we are required to intervene abroad.

The Democrats like to say that we are required to intervene at home.

Yet, from both parties, we heaping spoonfuls of both kinds of intervention.

Let's do something then!

I remember when I was first searching for the truth,I had to do thousands of hours of research for myself, and the DailyPaul people, was a wealth of Info in my search. I remember how patient most DPers where with me when I would ask a question. I just hope we can still be that way for all the newly awakened. I am prepaired to help them NOW!

I like Beck for what he is doing.. but I do not TRUST him. He is an entertainer with a high school degree taking on things well above his head at times.

Personally, I think that kind of personality would jump on any bandwagon. The thing that bothers me is that I want to believe him. The way he spoke to Rand during his interview was really awesome.

Still... I was there when he tried to paint Paul as a kook. I didnt forget. I also didnt forget when FOX censored the re-broadcast of the most powerful statement that Paul said during the campaign.. 'Let me see if I get this straight, we need to borrow 10B from China, to give to a military dictator, Musharaff, in Pakistan, who overthrew an elected government, we start two wars, lose all these lives, promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean what is going on here.'

That was the end of cable television in my home. All I need is a computer with an internet connection now. I watch tv very rarely and my child will not grow up infected with its propaganda.

Again.. I like him. But I still dont trust him or FOX.

He has informed millions of people, several TRUE and things that we all agree with. These things are exactly what caused many of us to finally wake up. For some people it takes learning about the federal reserve, others our liberties being taken away, others....understanding the lobbying system... Beck is informing his viewers of these things and much more, whether he is reading from a script or not it doesn't matter to me.. Learning about these things that are happening, when you are unaware, gives you motivation to search on your own for the truth. He has talked about 1207 and 604 numerous times, gave paul and other similars time to speak to his viewers.

I'm not backing Beck or supporting him but this is just my opinion. I understand he is more than likely just being a paid puppet, but honestly if I was paid 50 million to talk about things that are logically, true and morally correct...it would probably take a toll on my personal perspective after a while....just as it did us

If you do not use the tools that you have to get the message out, then you are going to be exactly in the same place as the Libertarian Party always will be.

Nowhere.

If we don't stop turning our noses up at ANYONE who does not agree 100% with everything we want, we will never get anywhere.

Period.

So unless we can stop beating up absolutely everyone around us to ~keep the message pure~, we will be a footnote in history that will eventually be erased in an effort to remain policically correct.

I'm just tired of the voices here on the DP that cannot post anything positive, have no answers for anything... but can point out everyone else's flaws all day long.

If there is a better answer, go get a series and radio station of your own and go for it. Until then, hush and do something positive... not just stew in negativity. All that ends up doing is isolating our movement to the point nobody can stand it, no matter how good the talking points are.

AMEN!!! I was called an Obama Lover just because I didn't completely join the lynching party against his school speech the other day on the DP.
