Coast-to-Coast AM

Last night (early Dec 3) a caller to Coast-to-Coast AM with George Noory, talked about the declining dollar, the increasing value of hard currency, and the need for Ron Paul as President, to straighten out the monetary mess we're in.

George Noory agreed, and talked a little about how Ron Paul was the only candidate who advocated sound money. He stopped short of an endorsement, but was very supportive.

Coast-to-Coast AM is a very good forum for Ron Paul supporters; George's show mas millions of listeners and they tend to be smart and perceptive. This is huge, free, national advertising!

Later in the show, George had on Joe Bannister (former IRS Criminal Investigations Officer) who talked about how the IRS does not obey the law, and yet expect the taxpayers to do so. I didn't stay awake long enough to find out if there was any further mention of Ron Paul, but it is likely that Bannister, and others in the anti-IRS movement, are well aware of Dr. Paul's positions.

So, friends, if you are up late and listening to George (or one of the other hosts) it would be great if you called in to give Ron Paul a bump on national radio.

Getting on the show...

I've had so many people tell me about this show. And his audience is so huge!

I'm just a singer/songwriter for Ron Paul, but I'd love to get on his show and spread the word as much as I possibly can. I've written in twice, but got no response. If anyone knows a secret word I can use or a name I can drop, or a suggestion for something I could try to get their attention, I'd love to know. :-) It seems like a unique enough angle on the subject of RP that they might be interested. Thanks very much ahead of time!

Here is how to get on the show

.
1. Learn to do an English / Liverpool accent.
2. Tell them your friends call you "Sir Paul."
3. Do a rewrite of "Rocky Raccoon"
4. Hope for the best !

Seriously, they rarely play original songs. In fact, in my 10+ years of listening to the show I never heard one. You would probably do better with Alex Jones or with The Power Hour (Joyce and Dave van Kleist) or even college stations. College stations love indy stuff, and that would be a good foot in the door.

Best of luck ! You could post it here also. Send an email to Michael Nystrom with the song attached.

I have listened to Coast to Coast for years. I even remember Art interviewing the Late Great Harry Brown. Art has a bad back and retired for a while. He came back, but then his wife died and he retired again. Then he moved to the Philippines and eventually broadcast from there. Then he came back to Arizona and did the show for a while. Now that is baby is born, he has retired yet again.

He owns Coast to Coast so he comes in whenever he wants to do a show. He was on last Friday night and of course Art did his ghost to ghost on Halloween.

George Norry has stated he was an Art Bell fan for years and loved the opportunity to sit in for Art. He did such a good job they gave him weekends. Then when Art stepped out, George took over.

George has interviewed Ron Paul already. I have also hear Ron Paul mentioned several times in the last few weeks.

And yet, I missed it, but Glenn Beck did Coast to Coast and George did Glenn Becks show a few weeks ago.

I think Ron should do a show as long as George will let him. I just don't think Ron can stay up that late at night. The one interview George did was recorded earlier.

I was a *HUGE* fan of Art

I was a *HUGE* fan of Art Bell's show for years and years. I was crushed when he retired. Noory is a good replacement, but it will never be the same without Art. I don't listen much anymore, but I guess I should start again!

Ron Paul Ads

I have heard a couple different very well produced Ron Paul ads running during Coast to Coast nearly every break on an AM station out of Reno, Nevada. I listen in western Oregon so it is a blowtorch of a radio signal. The ads are funded by an independent group called "Nevadans for America" or something like that not affiliated with the offical campaign.

If RP goes on Alex Jones he should be able to go on with reasonable George Noory. The topics are sometimes off the wall but Noory is sensible and keeps the show from becoming too nutty most of the time. I can't say the same for the paranoia drenched Alex Jones. I wish RP would stay away from that show if he is worried about appearences.

I couldn't agree more. I've

I couldn't agree more. I've listened to C2CAM for years with Art Bell and George Noory. In the past week, Ron Paul's name has been mentioned by other guests as well--and all in a positive light. This program is the number 1 rated overnight talk show and has an average of over 10 million listeners either per night or week. I think Ron Paul would do far better on this program than on Glen Beck's--just my opinion.

My first exposure

to libertatianism was through art bell. He interviewed Harry Brown for 2 hrs or so wen he was running in '96. I ended up buying 20+ copies of his book that year to give away to people to spread the word. My first presidential vote was for Harry Brown because of that show and the subsequent study that is prompted...

RP would be well received on Coast to Coast...

Ron Paul's Taped interview on Coast to Coast.

Here is the link to the taped interview of June 19th 2007.

I am a devout listener of Coast to Coast. Granted, there are odd programs sprinkled about, but it seems that more and more George Noory is hip to whats been going on in our country. Increasingly the guests chosen for the shows now are ones that have expertise in subjects surrounding the issues that Ron is bringing to light. Taxes, Trans Texas Highway, IRS, etc.

The vast majority of his listening audience is very intelligent. George's listeners will get Ron's message in spades if Ron is given the time on the show.

Send George Noory a guest request at:

Art Bell

Art Bell's a Libertarian. Does anybody know if he's endorsed Paul? Coast was the best when he was the host.

Art Bell changed

.
Long ago, Art's show was a take-no-prisoners expose of all things, no matter how bizarre or odd. He consistently touted a deep distrust in the government and how it operates.

Then something happened, and nobody knows what. This was about 8 years ago. He suddenly retired, claiming, variously, that someone had threatened his gay? son; or that a widely-circulated post, attributed to Art, that was a slam against the Filipino people. Bell strongly denied this, but withdrew from the airwaves. Host positions were variously filled by Ian Punnett and Barbara Simpson.

Then Art, mysteriously, returned for a fairly short time - not quite a year. During that time Ramona (his then wife) died of acute asthma and Art faced other challenges. Gone was the rebel; in its place was a pussycat who somehow had lost its ginger. No explanation.

George Noory came on board and at first I missed Art. But George was good and decent and wasn't afraid to tackle controversy - like the Art Bell of Old. Art would occasionally return, but had changed significantly. Gone was the government mistrust; it was replaced by Chertoff (and others) who skewed the truth about important issues, 911 most of all. (For the record I am not taking a position on 911, but I am all for getting all of the facts out, whatever they may be). Art now had a pro-government agenda and went back to "safe" stories such as alien abductions, bigfoot and the like.

Whatever Art Bell had, it's gone now. Too bad. George is very good and we are lucky to have him on Coast to Coast AM.

.

Art Bell is the same brand of 'Libertarain' as

Neal Bortz. Since he is so pro-war I'm sure he's a Julianna fan. I mean he's on the same page with most of us on government conspiracies, as long as it involves little green men.

George Noory is by far a better host and more appealing in his views than Bell. I just wished he would stop the fear-mongering over Iran.

Maybe RP's campaign should

Maybe RP's campaign should run the anti-IRS, pro-sound money ad on that station?

Huge cost !

.
I don't know what the Premier Network's rates are for a 30 second spot, but it would be extremely expensive, esp during the first hour of the show. Might be worth looking into, however!

That is a Great Idea

assuming the cost is reasonable, that is an excellent idea.

RP on Coast to Coast

A few months ago, there was some talk of RP going on the show for an interview. I believe George Noory had even extended an invitation. Some of the campaign's worry warts had decided he shouldn't go on because it 'didn't look presidential' or something. The audience is something like 15 million.

Yes, I always listen to the show...

and also heard last night's show, and I was pleased.

Love George Noory. He is an excellent and fair host and is really a good guy. He has a huge audience and Ron Paul would be perfect for the show.

I hope the campaign does not shy from this.

He should go

Alex Jones is way more controversial. If the MSM started insulting the c2c audience then they would be insulting millions of potential voters at once.

Dr. Paul should rock that.

Whenever I'm out that late, I tune in to Coast-to-Coast. The show definitely deals with strange topics, but it's also unafraid to address hot-button political issues such as gun control and the threat of a police state... I've often thought that Dr. Paul could find a big audience with its listeners.

He should quietly take an interview. We wouldn't need to make a big deal of it. Coast-to-Coast has a huge, built-in audience.

Coast to Coast AM

We listen to the programme regularly, although usually falling asleep. Its one of the most objective sources of information available.

The listening audience is mostly professionals, drivers, security personnel & is a very intelligent group. It does include some "conspiracy theorists" if you like that term. But it is also composed of many people like myself; mainstream moderate Republicans who believe the 9-11 Commission report to be generally the truth, have never seen UFOs & doubt the existence of silent helicopters. The identity prejudice problem with "Coast"
mirrors the prejudice against the Paul campaign.

George Noory just had excellent interviews with Pat Buchanan, former New Hampshire Primary winner who has endorsed Dr. Paul's positions, & Glenn Beck, who although disrespecting Paulites (aka traditionalist GOPers) actually comports almost entirely with the conservative agenda we support. George Noory also has called Lou Dobbs the only sane member of the mainstream media. He's generally libertarian just like Bell, Punnett, Boortz, North, Limbaugh, Dave, Liddy, Imus & Stern (Howard Stern supported GW Bush in 2000 & campaigned for Mayor against Giuliani as a Libertarian), as most radio professionals are, since they support free & open airwaves.
