Tea Parties then and now?

0 votes

Being out of the country, I unfortunately never had the opportunity to attend a Tea Party.
It appears to me that the Tea Parties during the campaign were somewhat spontaneous, positive, youthful events promoting Ron Paul and the ideas of Liberty.
What I see now, appear to be older, angry, uneducated whites getting together for nothing more than Obama hatefests.

Is my impression legitimate or is that just the image M.S.M. is trying to portray? Who is behind these events? Why does Ron Paul not seem to have anything to do with them anymore?
Could someone that has attended both, please fill me in?

Your right on

This is something I was worried about when I first witnessed Glenn beck and Michele malkin hosting and pushing the Tea Parties. I knew then that they were trying to hijack the Ron Paul Movement. Seeing that they are the Main stream media and have the broadcasting power to reach the country it worked. Most of would say that they obviously didn't steal us from the good Doctor but unfortunately they grabbed a lot of others that never really had the chance to experience what we have, being a part of the RP revolution. This is why I have always said that the only way to get our country back is to focus all of our attention on creating our own nationwide broadcasting company. Run that company the same way that the good doctor and the founders would have wanted us to run our country.
