A lot of people like to trash CNN and praise Fox and I just don't see it that way. She and her co-host always have Ron Paul on and you can sense that they really like and respect him. On the other hand, you have the Neo-cons at Fox and there is nothing but contempt, ridicule and dis-respect. I haven't seen Ron on Fox in ages. Probably not a bad thing at that.
Don't get me wrong. I don't mean to imply that either Fox or CNN should be worthy of much attention, but if you gotta compare the 2, I think this show and Lou Dobbs have been pretty cool to Ron Paul and his revolution.

It is logic verses influence. The Fed's power is influentially superior to the laws or any logical protest that can be made.
Can you name any oganization in the history of the world that has had equivalent power and was abolished do to protest?
Talk about money bombs! Look at what the Fed can do whenever it pleases.
Sure sound money is a good idea, make gold and silver legal tender again and the Fed will indeed be weakened. As Fed Notes keep being accepted so will the Fed keep being accepted along with their dual superior influence.
I think "Sustainable Development" is not the culprit, merely the the victim in another DOUBLETHINK tactic to keep people from thinking too clearly. The Governments ultimate enemy is self sufficiency. Say a community is born where permaculture farming is developed and this sets the foundation for free markets to exist. Nobody hungry, nobody is thirsty, nobody is homeless, nobody is without "ENERGY", a Permaculture foundation eliminates the welfare system. In other words, Government has no leverage, and that's how their company profits. But with a permanent foundation like permaculture free markets can finally realize their full potential as people will be the ultimate entreprenuers and need little time to satisfy their basic necessity because you see Permaculture is a methodology that allows the farmer to harvest 24/7 without working on their farms because it is completely self-sustaining. Given the amount of time people will have since basic needs are accounted for, free markets and the act of creative-destruction will evolve faster than any previous time in history allowing for a complete, coexistence with humans and nature based on "exponential growth". Al Gore has recognized this as being a possible enemy of the state. A complete destruction of governments which changes the capital structure world-wide. So what can the government do to save itself?? Carbon Tax. Create a standard that people follow to "redistribute" wealth based on a sustainable "idea".
If anybody wants to TRULY BE FREE of this system. Learn Permaculture. Learn Free Markets. Combine the two. Start a peaceful movement to be self-sufficient and disregard government attempts to regulate. If need be, move out of this country to where a citizenry of permamarkets can form and bring all of your friends.
If you want to revolt: In free markets, interference creates a bubble of mal-investment. Well in a revolution violence does the same and if you act violently then you are only prolonging the inevitable. If you want to change the system, don't push the reset button, start anew and bring everybody with you.

Hey doc, I bought your book yesterday at Barnes and Noble.
I'm looking forward to reading it, but I already know that you're right.
I hope a lot of people were watching this morning on CNN (Certainly Not News).
Keep up the good work and hey, I wrote you in on my ballot, and I will next time too.
won't let me watch youtube... any new thoughts expressed i should know about other than the camera wiggling and the interviewer being hot? "Six Months That Changed the World"

The camera on Ron is rock solid.
When they cut to his answers they gave him fullscreen, but on his first answer squeezed him over temporarily to give a third of the screen to some context intro info at the start, and on two others did a pan-in on a collage of related images with him in the middle.
Any jiggling was the hand of the guy on the pan control for the split-screen or the guy who dollied the (simulated) camera on the collage.
IMHO this is not an attempt to distract the viewer so much as to give Ron focus as a significant figure - and maybe the guy on the video board playing with his toys. It's much less distracting than overlaying him with subtitles explaining who he is and replacing his background with eye-jarring decorations, ala Fox standards.
Visual says "this guy is important", "his stuff is related to these current events - it ties them together and explains them". Timing given to his statements say "what he's saying is important". Giving him uninterrupted time to explain his points says "this is important, more complicated than a soundbite but you CAN understand it, and we don't strongly disagree with it".
Notice there was NO attempt to interrupt what he said to present "opposing points of view", or force the subject or line of discussion. The interviewer gave him a setup, let him deliver a full answer, then gave him another setup. She handed him straight lines and held up the stock strawmen in a way that made it easy for him to knock them down and look like an intellectual version of Rocky when doing so. I don't know if these people are explicitly on our side but she certainly gave him a fair platform.
I have NO quibbles with this interview. I just wish other interviewers, producers, and channels would do as well.

This is great, but it still just hurts to even hear some of these questions. Seriously. That the answer is not immediately obvious, answered already within the question itself, is sort of sickening.
It is hard for people to understand the link, though, between the Fed and the banking fiasco. They have a hard time with this. They think the Fed rescues us from these banking problems, not promotes the cause.

I don't think so.
They invited Dr. Paul on to discuss his book and more or less gave him 6 minutes to promote it on national television. I think that is pretty good.
