NPR - Fails to mention our man
Submitted by letmapeoplego on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 10:54
All Things Considered had a piece today on the federal reserve. It glorified Bernake's bold brilliance and mentioned simply that it's autonomy is under assault by Congress.
Time to light up their comments section on the web and send some letters in ( the do occasionally read comments on the air).

The only thing BOLD these days is HR1207.

Years back I supported NPR,
but they became a dishonest propaganda vehicle for big centralized government. Still a few interesting shows, but most are so biased I can't stand them anymore.
NPR is still "bitter" that Ron Paul won their Republican
poll earlier this year.
RP wasn't their pundits choice, and that upset them.
I Listen to NPR Every Morning
They mentioned Ron Paul literally three times during his presidential campaign.

Agreed.
This is pretty much why I only tune in for Car Talk and the very occasional Wait! Wait! Don't tell me!

NPR is totally socialistic in my view.
I do enjoy their in depth reports on certain topics, but they are mesmerized by Obama the messiah.

Their In-Depth Reports are the Worst
They're always on some stupid human interest crap like a musical act in Africa, or a Vegan recipe.

There in depth is reporting it great
You can learn a lot from learning about African music acts (Fela Kuti anyone?)
During the Bush years they were a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) but now they Obama is in..I can't listen hardly.
True but we need to engage them
They think that they see intellectually honest...so we need to force them to confront our position (and their oversight).
Also the left critique of the federal reserve can be stoked inside NPR if we press the debate.
Look how the Brian Lamb project worked out!
NPR may be harder, but it could be done. Only problem is all the foundation and Multi-national support they get. Much different than C-Span. But you can't possibly watch c-span in the last 4 years and say Brian Lamb isn't on our side. I'm very happy about that.

Left, right, and center, many people are economically struggling and few understand the long-term cause of the economic problems. Auditing the Fed and real money can help everyone, and the Left and unaffiliated can be our allies. They must be our allies.

absolutely!
"freedom is popular"...(the fed is anti-democratic,little d should also be so for the big D's)
Very true.
we have many fronts to this war. We must fight on all of them.
