Candidates advertised on this site joining VoterswithChange
The concept is simple, once a week a group of 5,000 individuals give $5 to a selected candidate running for Congress, for about 50 weeks until the 2010 election. Just $5 a week, for the candidate of the week.
Qualifications are fairly simple, like following Constitution and promising to vote NO on bills that are un Contitutional. Basically a bunch of Ron Pauls!
It is a Facebook group, Voters with Change over 1,200 strong, soon to be a website, that is trying to gather non incumbant candidates around the country and get 5,000 serious people to join the group who will actually give the $5 a week.
Here is list so far.

Having a organization the gives our candidates a nice sized start up fund is very important. In districts around the country $25,000 is all that is needed to start a good anti incumbant campaign to get it off the ground so they become the frontrunner.
I joined, and think it is worth a look. I have zero affiliation with the group, just passing it along. Be sure to check out the details at Voters with Change on Facebook.

Added some more
This is a great idea, and when our guys are the candidate for the week I will promo around our circles.
There are some really good Ron Paul and C4L member out there running. Ratowitz, Lambert,
Shouldn't we also
be contacting these candidates and urge them to join the Campaign for Liberty? If they are all truly constitutional then they would jump at the chance to join up with a movement that is already rolling.

Just facebook
This is only a facebook group list now. So all you would have to do is unjoin the group on the facebook page.
I hope the actual candidates wouldn't be allowed to send messages to group, if so, I would not like it either.
Update
Hello Voter With Change!
I am encouraged and pleased to tell you that we just went over the 1300 Member mark!
Some of you have missed the link to our candidate this week, and it would be nice to see all 1305 members give at least $5. Though you are only required to give if you see the candidate posting when it first goes up, we won't hold back new members from jumping right into the fray!
Remember, if you have donated to Jaynee Germond already, you don't have to donate again...this is just a reminder for those who haven't done so yet.
Here is her information:

Remember, our web site is up with some skeletal information while we build the real one. From there you can follow us on Twitter, Come check it out...and if you know Web 2.0 web design let me know...we could always use some more heads in the game getting this thing going!

One last thing - we have some 28 candidates in the vetting process...and I was contacted today by a candidate for the presidency in 2012! If every candidate from Voters With Change, you will have changed 5.2% of Congress...and it only takes a committed 5% to change anything!
Thanks for all your support!
(Remember: No candidate presented tomorrow, Monday the 5th, so we can work out the kinks from our first candidate presented.)
John Dennis is candidate
Be sure to let any Ron Paul Republicans know about this group. Jaynee Germond was first to go. I donated, don't know the total.

Please keep spreading the word. Many of the Liberty Candidates, myself included, are maintaining full time jobs while spooling up a campaign. Please , please, please keep spreading the word!

Front page?
I am not employed right now, but if I was I would definitely consider joining this. This should be on the front page. It has immense potential if it keeps growing.
Why i posted it
Although some of the candidates on there are not to my complete liking, we need to tell any Ron Paul Republicans who are running in districts to see if they can get on the list.
This is some so simple, if it goes well could be the way we fund our candidates in the future. Instead of these random money bombs we need to somehow get everyone of our candidates $50,000 per Congessional race.
I put together a list of candidates I think are qualified to receive my a donation.
http://teapartyslate.blogspot.com/
I sent an email to all of them suggesting they become a candidate for Voters with Change.
Some are vague on foreign policy, if running for Gov I will give them a pass, for Congress if they dont get more specific I might take them off.
They are growing
Now 1,124 this has the chance to really go viral. I see a them hitting 5,000 soon.
If you got a candidate in your area who is running tell them about it.
I am going to forward
this on to my local C4L...We have Peg Luksik running for Senate in Pennsylvania...

Or a dollar a day
I think you have a really good idea bundling groups, but I think the amounts people can make should be open. A nickle a day may not seem like much, but its'a nickle a day more you would not get if the limit was set at $5.
Also... when RP ran, like many people, I overspent. I learned something about myself in the process, and so, I have to budget myself knowing 2012 is not that far away and the rEVOLution will be bigger than ever, more things to do, places to go, people to meet... can't do it all.

True
That is why l like the idea. $5 a week. Less than a lunch, once a week could help fund 50 or more good constitutional candidates. This is broken down nice and cheap. Instead of asking for $100 bucks at a time.
It makes people consider it seeing the $5
I am busy right now,
but bookmarked for further study. This sounds like a good idea but we REALLY need candidates who walk the walk and not give us lip service.

Anyone with me
Going to email all the congressional candidates at RetakeCongress telling them about VoterswithChange. I think they have a better simpler idea there and it would be better for them to look into joining.
