My analysis:
This is Linda McMahon that we are talking about, and not her husband. She has none of the negative stigma associated with her that Vince does, and all of his resources. Peter Schiff is a wealthy man, but the McMahons are INCREDIBLY wealthy. Couple in the fact that she is a woman, and not only a woman, but an accomplished businesswoman, and she will capture a good deal of the female primary vote.
Having her as a Senator would be great if Schiff didn't win, however, I have a feeling that she will merely split the vote with Schiff, and lose to whoever else is in the race with the Republican establishment backing them.

I think she will help Peter's chances. Anyone voting for Peter is voting for principles and reason. Those who don't are voting for the other candidates. So Linda's addition would actually take away votes from Peter's opponents, in my opinion.

I respectfully disagree. The media will almost assuredly dub her "Linda McMahon, WWE CEO and wife of Vince McMahon". Sadly, a majority of voters don't need to hear much more than that to formulate a (most likely) negative opinion of her.

WWE, formerly known as Titan Sports, is an entertainment business, more than just professional wrestling. It is a multi-million-dollar media conglomerate rooted in pop-culture. Linda has been CEO of it since the 90s and in the business for decades, has helped build it up from the family business that was Capitol Wrestling and later the WWWF 28 years ago (when Vince bought it from his father) into what it is now.
I would state that being a self-made multimillionaire is something to take very seriously, because it shows the ability to be successful, how to run things properly, how to lead and dominate an industry, and most importantly, how to achieve the American Dream.
Besides, the WWE gets a ton of troop support for the support they give the troops as well with the USO, plus a ton of charity support through Make-a-Wish, is well-established in the CT GOP and has along history of political involvement with Smackdown-Your-Vote etc., is a large employer in the CT economy, and has a huge brand recognition. Linda spends most of her time in the executive chair and only occasionally in front of the cameras, usually to support a storyline for Vince, her husband of 43 years, which gets the family values crowd.
IOW, she has a serious resume and experience. She also has an inside-baseball advisor in former CT US Senator Weicker on the WWE Board.

I just think that her in there is going to guarantee that neither one of them is going to win. I'd rather have one or the other. The McMahons are conservatives.
And, to the bastard that spoke of them building a fortune on "theatrical lies", being a lifelong wrestling fan myself, I'll tell you that no sport whether scripted or not puts your body through the ringer like wrestling. I'd vote for Schiff over Linda any day of the week, and I hate Lieberman and Rahm equally. However, I can only donate to Schiff, I can't vote for anyone in the CT primary. I'm just making a point that this will be a tough race.
Also, the WWE doesn't pump it's wrestlers full of steroids, in fact, they're constantly busting their performers as they have the strictest drug testing of any sport. However, Vince McMahon loves big wrestlers, and, as a result, wrestlers that want to succeed to whatever it takes to fit that bill. That said, there have been many smaller wrestlers that have become big successes.
One more note--steroids are NOT bad for you. HGH is the issue. If you use proper post-cycle therapy with steroids, then at worst, you'll start balding if you're susceptible to DHT-associated inflammation. Steroids, if anything, should be legalized for every sport to extend the careers of players. I don't personally care to take steroids, as I've been a natural builder for roughly 13 years now, but I know more than enough about it and have put my time into educating myself.
