It is hard to say where Beck is getting his information. We know of some of the ideas he likely gets from his work, political ties, and even his personal life and faith. Today it appears he has gotten some schooling on our failed foreign policy straight from a 912 member on his own website. Listen as Beck discusses some of Congressman Paul's points on foreign policy as if they were his own. Let's see how this plays out for 912 members. This might be our opening to share the message. So far no hard critique from Glenn on Iraq, Afghanistan, or Pakistan. I say call his bluff!
This guy is like a ping pong ball. You can never predict what will
come out of his mouth. I must give kudos to Beck for saying this on his show. This was hardly a partisan message.

Glenn Beck in his newest book titled Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government actually mentions Ron Paul and I almost died seeing a mention of America Freedom To Fascism movie!!
Don't buy this book just go to your local Chapters and read - a lot of it makes sense which is why it is currently ahead of Ron Paul's End The FED on non-fiction list.

Something to think about.....
IF.... and it's a big "if".... he continues with THIS outlook, I will be pleased.
I know that WE are all skeptical of his sincerity and for good reason..... BUT... more importantly to ME was thinking of my pro-empire nation building "USA", "USA" chanting family hearing their new hero saying this. Let's see if he continues with this track for a while and whether he gets support or flack from the "normal" Republicans. I think they are going to go ape S**t. This is one area that they REFUSE to look at and admit mistakes.
Someone gave me Glen Beck's book a couple of months ago, and it says all sorts of lovely things but COMPLETELY ignores foreign policy (which did not surprise me). If he starts down the path of a change in foreign policy, I just wonder how many of his current flock will abandon him and say he's gone over the edge!
But with a HUGE miracle (which I believe do happen) , MAYBE we can start getting into this little "crack" and work it with those who are starting to wake up. After all..... Glen Beck said it, so it must be right..... right?
Can we not use this to our advantage?????

I think when his supporters look into some of the history that he just talked about they will begin to question their world. The problem is that he has to keep repeating it like a broken record in order to get people to actually think "hmmm maybe I should look into that". Those of you who are on the 912 project sites or communities need to bring up instances where Beck says things like this to support our efforts. Videos like this shouldn't be allowed to be forgotten. So, repost, favorite, rate, and share the things you like the media saying. This will begin to give a clearer picture to what we are saying. They will begin to move to the mainstream instead of the fringe. To dismiss an opportunity like this would be foolish.

I had an interesting conversation with an elderly man
at the Tea Parties in April. He told me that his people had been fighting the
banks and their take over of this country for a long time. I had just gave him
a flyer to a film series where America: Freedom to Fascism would be shown.
He said, "we were already there, we just didn't know it." He advised me to continue
my work. He also said that his people were networked across the country ready for anything big that goes down. He gave me a flyer about the Birchers' coming to town and asked me if I knew about them. The last thing he said to me was that "if I saw a couple men nicely dressed on bicycles I should do him a favor and talk to them." The man was very genuine about his remarks and had great faith in his people. I would find it very hard to believe that Beck isn't dealing with a powerful community of individuals within his religion. How their philosophy wouldn't rub off on him seems rather impossible.

The Mormons
The only thing that gives me hope with Beck is that he is supposedly influenced by old Mormons in the patriot movement like Benson and Skousen. Books like "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" were once found in many Mormon homes. Church leaders once encouraged membership in organizations like the John Birch Society. My parents both had Cleon Skousen as a professor at BYU. True patriots were once prevalent in the Mormon church.
That is not the case in today's Mormon church, but there is still a sizable minority of old-school Mormons that have been fighting against tyranny for decades. They've been awake for a very long time. Defending constitutional principles is literally a part of Mormon doctrine.
The only problem is that many in the liberty movement come from Christian backgrounds in which Mormons are viewed as evil. We are often lumped in with the enemy. I've even witnessed that view here at the Daily Paul. As a result, Mormons generally keep to themselves, and remain a great untapped resource in the liberty movement.

mentally unstable. Beck is on video saying he supports the Patriotic act..and opposed to the Patriotic Act.

You don't just change colors all at once... you do it slowly so as to not attract attention.
So in Glen's case he starts out with XXX talking points... get a bit of audience.
Then he changes one talkng point, to get a few more people.
Over the course of time, he changes all his talking points to the ones we want to listen to....
Then he takes credit for them all... as he does already with the ones he's using as liberty-people bait.
It works... even if your victims are aware of the procedure in advance.
