I agree that how it's taught is important.
Sandra Day O'Connor released this 'game' on the Constitution, that covers a great deal, but at the same time, makes victims of Democrats and minorities, while, skirting FULL rights under the First and it's called Our Courts. Also, it says the Second Amendment covers the right to own 'ordinary' arms, I believe the term is used.

Thats cool and all, but
I will still not depend on the Dept of Ed. to teach it correctly... I had gov. in high school. It was nothing special. In fact, and my wife will vouch for this, I was the one teaching the teacher.

Let's play devil's advocate.
My high school had a constitution class. Now government is mandating a week? Step backwards in my opinion.
Is the argument that the many this informs outweighs the few from which it will take?
What if it's taught by the run-of-the-mill history professor? Yeah, that'll properly impress the students.
Lastly, until someone on the local level can correctly answer the student who asks why the nation as a whole appears not to follow the Constitution, torches will be seldom lit.

Just so teachers are actually teaching about the actual Constitution, not the "living document" crap they try to foist on us today...
We had to learn about and actually be able to recite various parts of...the Constitution when I went to high school...
