Is that the Chinese are not buying into Timmy Geithner and Benny Bernanke's efforts to resurrect the now widely known as fraudulent derivatives scheme.
As far as the Chinese and "No more loans", that is nonsense, because the Chinese are STUCK with the US dollars, and the gang in the White House knows it!

They help protect our industries from the lower imports. You know they cut the costs on the products when they are introduced into this country so that they can destroy the companies that produce the same products. Then they are the only supplier, so they can raise the prices and the consumers are screwed after all. Some forms of protectionism is good. But Obama, if he had any BALLS would get us out of all these unfair trade agreements. Such as NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA, and the WTO. But he will not. Because he is in bed with the NWO. One World Government scheme. The United Nations. CFR. Trilateralists. Illuminatti, and the Buildbergers. This is probably a ruse to bring about a world currency, and to pretend he is on big labors side (LOL).

I have the right as a consumer to buy WHATEVER product I wish. If I want to buy a cheap chinese product that is my decision and you nor anyone else has the right to decide that I should buy anything "American'. Our industries can only get better by competing and providing superior product at lower cost. The reason they have trouble is because they are UNABLE to compete because of all the regulations, taxes, and inflation we have that drives up our business costs. THAT IS the problem. Protectionism is trying to attack the symptom rather than the disease- and even then you are attacking the symptom with a band-aid when we have a broken arm.

you have the prerogative to buy products from countries that essentially employ slave-labor and use the power of the collective to destroy honest competitors. Go ahead... nobody's watching. Go ahead and glut yourself on the misery of your fellow man. WalMart is open 24/7 for your convenience! I also can't help being reminded that Peter Schiff was concerned about the loss of our manufacturing jobs and said we need to change that and turn things around and get those jobs back to rebuild our manufacturing base.
He meant that we need less regulations, less taxes, a better monetary policy, no minimum wage, and a whole other host of things that would let us COMPETE with foreigners. Remember- we need COMPETITION ALWAYS. Reducing consumer choice is ludicrous. The way we run our country now- we won't even be capable of manufacturing anything at profit that we can no longer import thanks to tariffs.
Just out of curiousity, how would you suggest we compete with Chinese workers(they have children working too) who work mandatory 15 hour days in hazardous conditions without any sort of benefits and make the equivalent of 6 cents an hour? No U.S. citizen will work like a quasi-slave that way. And if you try to force those conditions on the American citizenry, the word revolt comes to mind. They won't put up with it.
On the other hand, I think most would agree, we wouldn't want unions forcing up wages higher and higher to levels that are uncalled for that make companies want to leave for another country. Some kind of middle ground is needed, in my view.
Just a passive observation on how to have instant communism and world trade dominance thru tyranny and oppression.
Already, there are towns along the Mexican border wherein Chinese are the majority. Middle management from China is already been flown into the US to run the major economic like cars and coal. Italy and Spain are flown in the build the NAFTA highway.

So we will buy Indian tires now...
Or Brazillian, or whatever... Tariffs do nothing except line the government's pocket.

Damn hypocrite.
No it's not a good thing
If the government imposes Tarrifs, that means the government is collecting more revenue. A government can't be trusted with money.
