LOL! Glenn Beck Endorses Muse; Muse Rejects Endorsement!

This story is inaccurate. Glenn Beck endorsed Muse then jokingly suggested he was told to retract the endorsement. Beck's humor is a bit strange sometimes so a number of people apparently took him seriously. It was eventually clarified that Muse's management had no knowledge of any refusal of Beck's praise by the band. Google is your friend. :)

I must say, I can see why Glenn likes the music but he obviously has
no clue as to what they are saying (unless of course you believe he's speaking
in some sort of code).
The song he praises here you should all listen to and start by reading the lyrics

Even more bizarre is what inspired this song.
In a pre-release interview featured in the August edition of music magazine Mojo, vocalist and guitarist Matthew Bellamy reveals the song to be inspired by "a book called The Grand Chessboard by Zbigniew Brzezinski," explaining that "Brzezinski has the viewpoint that the Eurasian landmass, ie Europe, Asia and the Middle East, needs to be controlled by America to secure the oil supply." Bellamy goes on to suggest that the song is also influenced by George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Wondering if Beck knows about any of this...

libertarian music, but here I thought they came off poorly, running and dodging any direct label; I understand their reluctance to be tied to Beck, but I don't think his review of their music can be faulted. And his response to their cowardly response was good humored (despite the cartoonish photo,) and gracious.

Couldn't pick up the album yesterday after work. Muse libertarians?!? That's sure as hell news to me. I wonder where "his daughter" got that information.
