Rockefeller Chief McDonald Dies in Apparent Suicide

Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) --James McDonald, chief executive officer of New York investment firm Rockefeller & Co., died Sunday from a single gunshot wound that was probably self- inflicted, officials in Massachusetts said.
His body was found in a car behind an auto dealership in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, said Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the Bristol County district attorney’s office in New Bedford. While police didn’t find a note, McDonald had called his wife earlier in the day, Miliote said.
McDonald, who was 56, headed Rockefeller & Co. for more than eight years, building the former family office founded by oil man John D. Rockefeller in 1882 into a wealth manager with $25 billion in client assets. Paris-based Societe Generale SA last year bought 37 percent of Rockefeller Financial Services, parent of Rockefeller Co., to add wealthy clients in the U.S.

'God's banker' case re-opened
Mr Calvi is thought to have upset the mafia and the freemasons
Italian prosecutors have concluded the Mafia murdered the Italian banker, Roberto Calvi, who was found dead more than 20 years ago.
Prosecutors have named four people suspected of carrying out the killing, and they have been given 20 days to reply to the accusations or face formal charges.
The original coroner's report said that Calvi, who was found hanging under Blackfriars Bridge in London, had committed suicide.
He was known as "God's banker", because of his close links with the Vatican.

SEOUL, South Korea (CNN) -- Former South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun committed suicide Saturday by leaping to his death from a hill behind his house, the government announced.

He was 62.
Roh, who was president from 2003 to 2008, had gone hiking near his home with an aide about 6:30 a.m. Saturday (5:30 p.m. ET on Friday), the state-run Yonhap news agency said.
He was found later with head injuries, and died at 9:30 a.m. after being taken to a hospital in Busan, police said. A hospital spokesman declined to comment.

OK, I have a tale from the chicken crypt.
We had a bird I raised from day old. He grew into an obnoxious rooster that fought my little banty rooster and pecked all the feathers off my hens and was always trying to screw everybody including the banty. Eventually, he became known as "Rothschild."
Now, you all have to understand I am a former Christian and a current smart aleck, married to a man just like me. We believe in personal responsibility, even with and to the Creator, so when people say "I will say a prayer for you" we say "Thank you" and know it is a kind thing they are offering. In private, we have had a running joke for probably 20 years of "We will sacrifice a chicken for you, too."
Now, part three... Hubby is a dear sweet man and he is one of those amazing men who can fix things he never even heard of before. But he has never dispensed with a rooster. A neighbor told him of a technique using sticks the other day....
If you have read my tale of "Pet" the blind chicken, you know I am more than fond of that silly bird. Well, Rothschild got hold of her last week ans was swinging her by her neck and she was screaming and I started crying...
Now, since Rothschild met his maker, 4 banksters have died.
I have a few days left before all the eggs he fertilized will be in my refrigerator, not my hens. Then I will fix a BIG omelet, and I will be removing from the earth the last of the Rothschild DNA. Who knows what will happen... lol!

Just a little chicken note: I had one with worms a few weeks ago. I cured her with black walnut husk tincture. And I learned that a couple sweet gum balls in the coop keep spiders out.
