When three murders/suicides occur in one week to well-connected money men, things may be more rotten in Denmark than the statement by King Ben.

They are more than likely eliminating dissenting opinion and cleaning up loose ends. Once they are finished, their attention will turn to the endgame, but they are going to fail.

The Fed is preparing to exit the American markets... that means a lot of our really large banks will be going (or on fire) as well.

So it is just time to ~clean~ the loose ends.
