Out of over 11,000 votes cast the good doctor himself has 7983 (55.2 %). There is currently a 5,000 vote gap between him and second place. As the voting ends tonight, it looks like FreedomWorks will say Yes to Dr. No. (See the Straw Poll in Action)
What does this mean?

The GOP Straw Poll ends at midnight, August 2nd, and the totals will be reported back to FreedomWorks members and the national media.
That's right! 800,000 people will learn who Ron Paul is and there will be a press release to boot!
Good News
I've been a freedom works member for a while. It does line up pretty well with Dr Paul's limited government philosophy, so this makes sense. That'll be great to get the word out to pro-liberty, pro-free market people, who may not have heard of him.

I don't know anything about FreedomWorks, but if it helps Dr. Paul, then that is a good thing. Bravo.
This campaign is shaping up really well. Keep praying for Dr. Paul's safety; the better he does, the bigger the threat to the establishment.
