Lets think about the real agenda of congress
All of these are co-sponsors? Really?
Most of these congressmen DO NOT have our best interests at heart, otherwise why would they be shoving health care bills down are throat?
I think that the bill will pass, a BS congressional committee will "audit" the fed. This committee will be appointed by wallstreet, Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner.
They will start with the results that they want known to the public and spin the facts to fit them.
Then everyone in congress looks like a hero at election time and the new world order marches forward.
If you think otherwise you are being foolish.
I hope Ron or Rand Paul runs for president!

Did you notice
Ron Paul saying he was going to start putting more pressure in the anti-war movement? GOOD IDEA...... not everyone that supports him comes from the right. I know I don't. I'm conservative in so far as I think less government is always a good idea.
However, I'm liberal in other areas such as gay marriage. I'm straight but it's absolutely ridiculous that gays can't marry. Heterosexuals have been screwing up marriage for how long now? They even auction off marriage on TV now with these reality TV shows and yet gays can't marry? Total and absolute BS.
I'm also not conservative as far as health care goes and I actually disagree with Ron Paul on this issue. Having a free market system on health care has shown it does not work. The entire system is a sham and insurance companies as well as Dr.s and Hospitals an RX companies have been raping people for a long time now. And yes I realize and am aware of all the problems of government run healthcare...I'm a veteran...I know all too well. Regardless, there has to be a better system than what we currently have.
Now to my final point in this post. I'm glad to hear Ron Paul talking about putting more pressure in the anti-war movement....Ron needs to wake the LEFT up because many on the left will come to his side just as I did if Ron starts beating this drum as much as he has the bad economy. The two go hand in hand do they not?
By the way.....I'm currently a registered Republican and was a delegate in the 08 election all because of Dr Paul. Believe me, that is saying something because if it wasn't for Ron Paul I never would have even considered registering Republican. Van Jones is correct when he says Repulicans are A HOLES....for the most part.......THEY ARE.....with the glaring and noted exception of Dr Ron Paul..........who is better than any man on any side of the isle.

Keep in mind that if the federal government stayed in it's proper role in marriage, ie none at all, gay marriage wouldn't be an issue. Instead of going the route of legislating everything out the wazoo, what should happen is the feds should keep their hands off of marriage. Again it's that whole thing of "what should they do" instead of "should they be doing anything at all" because the current problems are already a result of their mistakes and breaches of Constitutional law. Of course, this brings into question the whole thing about tax breaks and benefits, which is all easily solved by the fact that the government shouldn't be taxing us this much already (couples of any orientation shouldn't NEED tax breaks because of already too high tax burdens due to excessive government spending on wars and overregulation), and they shouldn't have any say over what benefits a company gives you. And already many companies offer benefits on their own specifically for same sex couples, I know mine does and they are better than mine as a straight person! I'm actually glad of that, it's nice to see a private enterprise helping to protect the freedoms the government likes to take away, kind of throws the myth about the companies always being the enemy and the government being the savior out the window.
Also on health care, you can't really say that the free market has been proven not to work, because it hasn't been tested through use. The system of controls and manipulations the government has had around health care like a noose for decades makes the concept laughable. And medical insurance these days bears no resemblance to the type of agreement the term "insurance" is actually supposed to denote. The "better system" you speak of can't be accomplished by more of the same ridiculous interventions that have caused the problems. One of the largest issues as far as high cost of care is lack of competition because of lessening numbers of doctors due to insanely strict regulations on practicing and the extraordinary costs incurred by more regulation and frivolous litigation. High cost of drugs can easily be explained when you see the chokehold that the govt has on any competition in the pharm industry. They are only able to rip people so hard because they are essentially government subsidized juggernauts in the same manner as Goldman Sachs and the others of their banking ilk. It really is a complete fallacy to say something has failed when it has not been even touched, never mind used to it's potential.

Obama is going to be feeling some serious pressure. He has also made a huge mistake by declaring that the recession is over....because it is not. The only thing Obama has done is kick the can down the road. I predict that Obama will NOT complete his first term...the correction is coming and politicans of both parties will pay the price....and they should.

It's a bill that stands well on its own merit and I believe it has enough support to be introduced by itself. I would love it if any additional laws they'd like to pass be introduced separately so as not to cloud the issue in any way.
