I was fortunate to receive an advanced screening copy of the soon-to-be-released documentary, FOR LIBERTY: How the Ron Paul R3VOLution watered the withered tree of Liberty. (www.ForLibertyMovie.com)
Being a life-long fan of film, I have seen thousands of movies through the last few decades and this will forever remain one of my favorites. First-time filmmakers Chris Rye & Corey Kealiher creatively take us back through the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign. The way they interlace media footage, supporter videos and interviews is brilliant. Not only does it cover the most unconventional and unique presidential campaign in the history of American politics, it tells the story of “We The People” and why so many of us were willing to give our time and money for a candidate that every corporate media outlet ignored, censored, marginalized and attacked.
For the Ron Paul supporter, it will make you laugh and cry. For the person who knows little or nothing about Ron Paul it will force them to question the criminal career politicians and the complicit corporate media.
