We have very little time to counter this bill -

We all need to get on board. Some are saying this is par for the course, yes, that is true. But, that is because nobody opposed these things in enough numbers to make any real difference. The number of Ron Paul supporters is more than enough to make a serious difference if we get politically active on this issue!

betty

This was EXCELLENT!

So glad you posted it. I would have never seen it otherwise.
Such a good argument. This should be shouted from the highest rooftops. Think of all the time & money that's going to be wasted on this bill. It would HAVE to be challenged in the Supreme's Court & they would HAVE to rule against - No?

Thank you! Shout from the rooftops everybody -

before we are all exterminated because of our political viewpoints. Can't you just imagine having a serious medical condition and THEN THEY FIND OUT YOUR A RON PAULER!!!!! It's called kiss your rear end goodbye!!!!

Yes, asscyn, we desperately need this bill constitutionally challenged and a massive class action suit might be of interest!!!!!! I hope that somebody gets something going to that effect. However, until then, all RP supporters need to climb on board and unite their efforts as we did with hr 1207. United, we can defeat this bill!

betty

Of course it's

Of course it's unconstitutional, but so is the Department of Education, Energy and Homeland Terrorism! What do our politicians care about the Constitution? What do they care about us?

As well as the three letter anathemas

FED,IRS, CPS/DCF, DoT, ATF, ad nauseum, ad infinitum. Most don't give a flying fig's concern about the Constitution, even though they swore to uphold it. Sadly, they couldn't care less about the constituants, either, except around election time.

-I favor extending to Israel the same honest friendship that Jefferson and the Founding Fathers urged us to offer to all nations. ...This means I also favor discontinuing foreign aid to governments that are actual or potential enemies of Israel,--Ron Paul

Just faxed my two senators again!

Copy and paste my fax, if you wish. I used the Campaign for Liberty text as follows:

Dear Senator:

We are outraged that the federal government is attempting to take over American healthcare.

Not only could the $1.5 trillion dollar price tag bankrupt us, but our healthcare, and our medical records - along with life and death decision-making power - would be handed over the unelected bureaucrats in Washington, DC.

In countries that currently have government-run healthcare, many people have to wait over four months just to see a specialist - and over six months for simple surgical procedures!

We urge you, therefore, to vote against any bill that increases government involvement in American healthcare and instead to work to reduce government's role.

In Liberty for a Constitutional Republic,

Universal Health Care is coming our way.....

Unless we all step up to the platter and do a political home run as we did with h.r. 1207! We can do it, but this needs to be focused on NOW, before it is too late for us to take proactive, political action! Please keep this bumped!

betty

This is the most important issue at our feet!

besides the Federal Reserve - please keep this bumped!

betty

I'm resurrecting this because its so...IMPORTANT!

This health care fiasco will make a shambles of our rights and privacy. I just got an email from Ron Paul that made it clear that this is a horrible, horrible bill that will allow government officials to make life or death decisions on your health care and on your loved one's health care. Is this what you want??? Then realize the only thing that will stop this ludicrous political whitewash is to publicize the fact that it is unconstitutional and KEEP this BUMPED!!!!!!!!

betty

double bump!

Wake Up America - your freedom is going, going, gone with this draconian legislation - if we can get 1207 to the floor than we can assuredly stop this bill.

betty

Well, now, thanks to Politico, we know that if we do not

comply with this draconian legislation that we will be stuffed into a jail cell, I really think it is high time to make this issue a priority. This legislation is unconstitutional in several ways and further, world net daily has just posted an email article saying that the senate bill is not even up for full disclosure to the American people! This is an outrage! We are supposed to meekly go along with this pharmaceutical tyranny or be jailed - well, I'm livid and I want to know just how to get a class action suit going. Any ideas? If your not mad yet, just think about how easy it will be to sue the government for medical negligence!

Rhetorical nonsense

Who pays for the 47 million now uninsured, but health insurance policy holders and taxpayers. Until you deal with that "inconvenient truth", all here are wissin in the wind.

...................AND IF THEY'D LIE TO YOU ABOUT THAT, THEY'D LIE TO YOU ABOUT ANYTHING.

The insurance industry, as regulated

by your favorite government, is dedicated only to status quo, conventional care that keeps the populace drugged and deluded about health.

What is needed is not an outmoded insurance scheme taken over by the bureaucracy, but education of people on how to be healthy and the many alternatives to "approved care" that actually could help them avoid chronic illness and hugely expensive medical bills.

No one but me pays for my medical care.

Other than being born, I have only been to the hospital/doctor four times in my life.

Twice I was a minor and my parents paid out of pocket. (over 20 years ago) The last two times were about 2 years ago and 1 year ago respectively, and I paid out of pocket.

No one picked up my tab. You are talking out of your butt.

boo

boo (louder) boo (loudest) boo

what?!?

What the heck does insurance have to do with Healthcare? ...Mandated insurance is the bigest reason for the large cost of medical care! PERIOD
1.Insurance should ALWAYS be voluntary
2.Isurance should only be for catastrophic injury or illness
3.No insurance agent/worker has ever given me medical care ...or fixed my car.

Patient-------Doctor ....why does a Corporation or Gov't need to be in there too?

Anybody who whines about x amount of people unisured equals a higher cost for all is an ignorant tool or a paid shill.

ditto.

Insurance hampers the price mechanism. The price mechanism is rising to compensate.

These are the laws of economics we are talking about. They are as immutable as the law of gravity or inertia. I dare anyone to defy one of those and not get hurt as well.
