Glenn Beck Attacks American Empire AGAIN!

Before an interview with John Stossel and to the dismay of his buddies on the radio, Glenn Beck once again attacks the foreign policy decisions of America instead of being a good little citizen and bowing down to the policy of shutting up and waving the flag. Can this keep up? In the audio, he apologizes to libertarians, says we should pull out of various countries including Korea, and says that he thinks that if he could rewind the clock he would really listen to Ron Paul on foreign policy instead of dismissing him as a kook.
So for those that are counting this is the second instance that Glenn has publicly denounced what he is labeling American "Imperialism". If this is anything like the Acorn sting, good things come in threes. This comes after Beck, on 9/12(?), made similar statements about our foreign policy seen here:

because we were born with these ideas? There is no hope for Beck's masses, when posed with the truth of freedom and liberty to ever triumph over the political rhetoric. If you can't see the path one must go through to get to where many of us are now, then what is the point of trying to talk to people at all. These ideas must have spontaneously come to us?!?
Second, many of you are not understanding the importance of this. Stop staring at the hand that is pointing. Beck is not the issue here.

and in the same breath he also called RP a "crackpot." I don't trust him. Why follow Beck anyway? Is it his intelligence? Uh no. Is it his ideology? No, he's a Neocon backstabber. Is it because he is on the boob tube. Oh yes that's it.
You are not looking at the situation clearly
This has nothing to do with becoming a Glenn Beck worshipper. This has everything to do with taking what he is saying (twice now) and using it to bridge the gap between many of his supporters and the Ron Paul movement. It is not too difficult to understand that if Glenn warms his audience up to our ideas and breaks down the barrier that has separated many of us especially on foreign policy (number one reason Republicans/Conservatives voted against Paul in the election) then there is nothing really left for them to oppose. Candidates like Paul can now have a voice in far more places than was once possible before. It will be easier for them to adopt our ideas or concede some of theirs if someone that they follow as a truth teller understands some of these things as well.

The only problem with this is that he's going to then steer all his listeners towards someone like Palin or Sanford or some other faker just like him. Although I'm very happy he's stating these things, I'm pretty damn sure it's with bad intentions down the line.

I figure he already knows that Iraq is a loss
They've kicked us out back when Bush was in office! However, I'm not as optimistic about his statements on Afghanistan. Sounds like he wants to continue the assault (that's basically status quo) even though the evidence is that we are losing, Al Quaida is gone, and we've fallen into policing duties including the control and destruction of opium fields. Nothing he said really makes me think he understands the situation to know that its time to come home. On a positive note, it is good that he has called for the closing of our military bases where we have no business being there. He's reading the Paul playbook here. Some of his comments seem verbatim. We'd be foolish not to take advantage of this.
