John Stossel to Fox?
This is not brand new news, but a good article about one of my favorite LBTs. Ron Paul even mentioned John Stossel as a VP that he would consider if he was elected Prez!
Sorry for the length, this came in an email from Advocates of Self Government, so I don't have a link.

John Stossel's New Libertarian TV Show
by James W. Harris
-------------------------------------
John Stossel -- arguably the highest-profile libertarian journalist in the world -- is leaving ABC in October to join Fox News Channel (FNC) and Fox Business Network (FBN).
On FBN Stossel will begin a weekly show that may well be the most consistent, intelligent, ongoing presentation of libertarian views in television history.
Stossel says Fox has offered him the opportunity to air his uncompromising libertarian viewpoint much more often. And he is enthusiastic about the possibilities.
"I want to dig into the meaning of the words 'liberty' and 'limited government,'" Stossel recently wrote in his blog. "ABC enabled me to do some of that, but Fox offers me more airtime and a new challenge.
"I'm still considering what I will do with my own show, one hour each week. Economics certainly. Exercises in understanding libertarianism. My 'take' on the issues of the day..."
Fox says Stossel's show will feature "in-depth reports and discussions surrounding libertarian issues in the United States and abroad. Each week Stossel will be joined by experts to explore consumer-focused topics such as free-market economies, civil liberties, the business of health care, social security, and free trade."
Stossel will also appear regularly on various Fox News shows during daytime and primetime. And he'll host four hour-long Fox specials per year, similar to those that won him fame -- and controversy -- at ABC.
Stossel gained national fame through the ABC news program "20/20". He began there in 1981 and became a co-anchor in 2003. He has received 19 Emmy awards and has been honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club.
Along the way, Stossel became increasingly skeptical of government. Eventually he became a full-fledged libertarian, and his libertarian views became a hallmark of his "20/20" reporting.
Here's something else noteworthy: the universal use of the word "libertarian" to describe Stossel by news outlets reporting his move to Fox. This is another sign of the growing acceptance of libertarianism as a distinct, valid and growing part of the American political landscape. Just a few years ago the word "libertarian" was so little used and understood that it would either have been omitted or followed by a lengthy explanation. Now it is taken for granted that readers will understand it.
And that's a victory for our side!

I think it's pretty simple
Fox News is a business and post-911, they hired every neo-con they could and milked the situation of fear for every dollar they could. The bigwigs upstairs now have realized that 'freedom is popular' and libertarianism is the most popular trend with the amount of discontent out there. Watch Fox start dropping their neocons as they fill their wallets. Glenn Beck was the test, now they know how to make money.
Good news!
This is good news to hear. John Stossel is heavily influenced by Ayn Rand. Here is an article from the Atlasphere he wrote on Glenn Beck. http://www.theatlasphere.com/columns/090617-stossel-glenn-be...
More media help to wake America up. Excellent.....!
Fox has also hired Imus for their business news.

to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion,
but allow very lively debate within that spectrum."

February 20, 2012 - Veterans For Ron Paul March on D.C.!
Remember folks
This is part of a cycle.
Has any policy significantly changed from Bush to Obama? No. Only the supposed party, which simply rotates the dream machine's output by 90°.
Suddenly Fox wants to be more Libertarian? First the Judge's show, now this?
These personalities ought call Fox out on this and expect good answers.
"Why did you prohibit Ron Paul from debating?"
"How can you purposefully marginalize him then repeatedly ask for interviews six months later and think you retain credibility?"
LibertyDefined.org | If | Not Perfect
Fox sees the writing on the wall...
they're slowly but surely coming around. Do you think they'll ban Ron Paul from their next presidential debate (like they did their last one)??

Fossils Rock!
'Cause there's a monster on the loose
Clearly....
the NeoCons are terrified. The NeoCons are realizing that they will not benefit so much from the anti-Obama sentiment in the country. Why? Because a country doctor from Texas that follows the Constitution has over two million republican votes in his pocket and he ain't buying the NeoCon claptrap.
We are winning. Congratulations my friends...Our work is paying off.
Turn up the heat and keep agitating!
I hope he will sit in with
Judge Napolitano on "Freedom Watch"...Squeeze that network to make it a primetime show. If you don't understand there are big problems by now your braindead.
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
Yes, this is great...
Finally a Libertarian with an anti-war view on FOX! Can't wait to see him and I am sure he is going to have Dr. Paul on his show as much as he possibly can.

NEW PLEDGE . . .
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of The United States of America and to The Republic for which it stands. One Nation FREE AND INDEPENDENT with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of The United States of America and to The Republic for which it stands. Fifty states FREE AND INDEPENDENT with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
How about,
Leave out the "one nation"
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of these United States of America and to The Republic for which it stands FREE AND INDEPENDENT with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
Still not to keen on the word allegiance. If I am the sovereign I should not subvert myself "allegiance" to anything.
I solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of these united States of America from enemies both foreign and domestic, to this I pledge my Life, my Fortunes, and my sacred Honor.
Just a thought, I do like the removal of "indivisible"
