Big pharma can't allow cancer or any other disease to be cured because they will lose their business of drugs, pills and all the illness causing products they make and distribute to us.
Curing cancer has no benefit to them whatsoever even though the cure has been made and known for decades. Medicinal herbs and other forms of plants are known to be beneficial in eliminating cancer. Hemp oil can also do the trick as well as drinking organic green tea daily among other things.

when his glucose shoots up because he is noncompliant, I force him into no grains or sugars of any kind and we usually get him back down into a closer normal range within a week. This type 2 is self induced. thousands have it because of what we eat. We should not be eating all those white grains and sugars, and get out and exercise 4-5 times a week heavy aerobic. I am a nurse who has discovered that the body can take care of itself as long as we do our part. I get strange looks from my nursing friends because I am always giving advice on natural cures. Olive leaf extract by Seagate, is a wonderful supplement. My husband takes that daily and has not been affected by the flu or colds in years. We changed doctors because they were pushing ful vaccines and lo cholesterol drugs. I don't trust these guys. Most have gotten in bed with their pharm reps who ply them with free gifts. Take charge of your lives. Most diabetics will not change, because they just want to take an extra insulin shot before loading up on desserts. i say again, self inflicted in many cases.

I can't find the same articles that I found a few years ago but there is a
Dr. in Canada that found a simple cure for type 1 diabetes. Put simply it is shooting capsicum (from hot peppers) into the pancreas.

The original article I read said they would be trying it on humans in a year. So a year later I was looking into it again and found an article that said no human trials because it would make Big Pharma lose to much money by curing it.
I am sick about this and do not trust big pharma.
My son came down with T1D two 1/2 years ago and is holding steady for now without going on insulin. I caught it early enough that his pancreas is still producing some beta cells. With diet, exercise, herbs and vitamins he is controlling it for now. It is just a matter of time before he will have to go on insulin and like the rest of you my anger towards the gov. and pharma companies is very real when there is a cure.
I will never donate a penny to find a cure for any disease because "they" are not interested in finding a cure.

My nephew too, who is 14 now,
for two years since diagnosis, has type 1 diabetes, and still is not on insulin, and able to control his sugar with diet, herbs and exercise. I did find http://www.treeoflife.nu/ which claims to cure T1D and type 2 (among other diseases) with a raw food diet also. I just talked with them and got the literature the other day. They do a 21 day program and have had great success with it. The cost is almost $13K so that will not happen with my son nor does he want to do a vegan/raw food diet which probably would have to be for the rest of his life.
I did order his book "There is a cure for Diabetes" and just got it so have not read it yet.
I so wish the gov. would push a healthy diet/lifestyle. Most of the food in grocery stores is not edible. I wish I had not eaten it most of my life. It was not until the last year that I have given up most of what they sell in grocery stores.

Yes, Debbie is an amazing woman! She is the one who woke me up. I feel so lucky to have met her. She's still going strong too. Still vegan. Doesn't even own a stove or an oven! I spoke with her just the other day about the new drug for lupus. She was appalled, of course.
Our bodies are self healing, and pure, whole, unprocessed food is medicine. Drugs do have their place at times, I admit. Especially in emergency situations. But, IMO, not for long term illness.
I just lost my mom in July, to complications from breast cancer. I believe the chemo and radiation treatments she received eventually brought on the autoimmune disorder that killed her. She suffered in a wheelchair, barely able to stand or walk, for the last ten years. Everything I tried to tell her to help her, did not make sense to her. She was an old RN, 79, and very resistant to anything in opposition to what her doctors advised. She thought the allopathic doctors knew best. She thought I was crazy.
It really sucked to watch her slowly decline into the state of extreme misery she was in. Makes me very sad and very angry. The same thing happened with my dad. He died of Alzheimer's complications three years ago. Such a horrible thing to witness, while standing by helplessly. I keep telling myself, if only.
It's a long road to health when we have been fed what profits, over
what heals. I've had several health problems that I'm still fighting. But that's a long, boring story. My aim is vegan, and that is sometimes very difficult for me. So I try to eat as raw and organic as possible, but my diet is still not perfect.
You are definitely on the right path! Keep going and don't give up. Your son is very lucky to have you. I am constantly reading and researching and it sounds like you are too. :)
As far as the govt pushing a healthy lifestyle. Like I said, miracles do happen. The more info we spread, the better. There are some good honest people in govt. Just look at Dr Paul!

I am so sorry about both of your parents. I think that when our parents were young they could for the most part trust the Dr.s and they still have that mentality. I can understand that as when I was young our Dr. had her office in her home and had the medicines right there also. They wanted to cure you not cover up the problem.
My mother is kind of funny as she finally is taking herbs for her cholesterol and it went down for the first time in years but still is taking her medicine for it. Argh! She is slowly coming around though. I pray it will not be to late. I think she said she will not get the H1N1 shot which is encouraging. My father probabably will though as he has much more faith in the med. business.
I don't have any faith that the gov. will change anything but I think it is the people that are changing it. Many foods are now saying in large letters on the front No high fructose corn syrup so there is some hope. Now if they will just get rid of corn, canola, soy and cottonseed oils in everything that would be a better start. Those 4 are all gmo according to Food Inc movie or the other movie I watched?
It is hard for my son as he is so young (14) to have to go through this with such a restrictive diet but he does very well concidering. I so wish he would go with a raw food/vegan diet. His diet consists of mostly meats and veggies. No carbs to speak of. I do pray I can find a cure as I don't want to wait forever. LOL!
One thing that cracks me up is the commercials for the drugs that they are pushing. Why anyone would even concider them when they tell you the side effects. It is bad enough that people don't read the lit.that comes with them.
