Kucinich has lost it

Check out his site, he's got some crazy idea to make health care a civil right. I had no idea he went off the deep end after the presidential campaign season. Is he not attending town hall meetings? I wrote him and suggested state mandate reform but who knows, this guy will do or say anything to stay a politician.

He has a lot of things right. But nobody is as good as RP!

There are two honest men in Congress
Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich
Honesty has nothing to do
Honesty has nothing to do with this.
It is true he is a liberal but one thing is that he honest.
I don't believe Health care is a right but ate the same time I don't believe that the health insurance providers should be ripping us off by denying coverage when we have been paying for coverage. But they use everything to deny as much as possible because it is profitable. The next thing is Health insurance providers should not believe it is their right to have the government protect them and create a monopoly fr them. So we have to pay an arm and a leg. This is not free enterprise or capitalism this is socialism for the health insurance industry.
Not to mention big pharma. The feds have created a monopoly for them as well denying us the ability to buy cheaper generic drugs and save Billions.
This is not free enterprise or capitalism but corporate welfare.
Is this what you want. We have the most expensive health system in the world yet we have one of the worst. Americans think we have the best.
How about infant mortality? We are 50th. In most everything in health care, education, foreign trade, economy and industry etc...
we are way down on the list.
My president is Ron Paul. But as long as the house and senate are working for these big corporations against the American people.
I would rather have Kucinich's plan then what we are getting now.
He wants to put us all under medicare. which would save about 350 Billion by eliminating a lot health insurance fee. Which would pay for us all and no new spending. In addition he would allow us to buy our medicines from competitors and bring the price of pharmaceuticals down saving another 500 Billion. Now we are actually saving more than we are spending now.
But idiots want to keep going and let them rob us of health and wealth.
Canadians live longer than we do. Most of the world does.
Americans have the poorest health of most nations.
So though I do not believe that we have a right to health I would rather Kucinich's plan than what we have now.
Even Ron Paul said he would not be totally opposed to a health care plan if it is a good one.
In Canada they have discovered that drug kills a bunch of cancers.
But the pharmaceutical companies won't be bothered because they can not get a patent on so it won't be very profitable. Never mind that it works.
Perhaps our health care should be a not for profit system then we would have this drug to use and a myriad of others that have been passed up because they can't make money on it.
What about the doctors who want 30 40 or 50 thousand for just one operation. Does that look like they give a damn about the patient.
When I hear of people that die because of lack of money for their liver transplant. They go crazy trying to raise the money so the doctor can buy himself a BMW. This is what you want?
kucinich has championed
kucinich has championed single payer health care for as long as i've known him as a congressman. did you think he was a free market, capitalist loving constitutional conservative?
if he lost it, then he lost it long long ago. not recently. at least he is not taking money from corporations to draft legislation in their favor. that makes him more honest and constitutionalist than the rest of the fascists in congress.
Kucinich has always been a leftist and a statist
But I think he's a genuine one. He at least stood up to Bush in his wars of aggression and contested the erosion of our civil liberties. A duty that Republicans have been totally neglectful of for the past 8 years.
I doubt he has any clue about anything regarding the economy or entitlements. Since I believe him to be sincere, I will support him when he advances the cause of liberty and oppose him when he doesn't. Bernie Sanders and Mike Gravel strike me as other sincere leftists.
Great answer
my thoughts exactly........he's not a bad guy.just misguided and need to be shown the light.

Dennis is an Idealist.
It's not that he is not a good honest man, it's that he thinks government can provide. As opposed to Ron who knows that is not the solution. If Dennis was dealing solely with others who had his same intentions then I have no doubt that his ideals would work. However that is the farthest from what we face today. I can say I would chose Dennis over Barak or McCain but no one over Ron!
I have said it for over 2
I have said it for over 2 years now.. dennis is a commie... he has no business being in the congress or serving the United States in any capacity... he would not know the US Constitution if it snuck up and bit him on the ass.
Hey, knock off the personal attacks and bad language please. zp, mod.

It is not that he does not know.
It is that he does not get human nature. Like I said he is not a bad man, just an idealist. I know Dennis wants the best for his fellow man, it is just that he does not get it. Aside from all that he is in no doubt a good man. He is a better alternative then what we have and I do knoiw I am not saying to much but at least he did challenge the corruption.
zp..... maybe you should
zp..... maybe you should everything on this site.. I have seen far worse in the past 2 days..

Wait a minute. If Kucinich said the fed is bad and he's not
one of us, then what about all those people on tv that say the fed is bad. I want them all to be president or run for congress based on this one statement. What if they get there and I find out they don't agree on everything else? If I can't form a solid opinion after 3 or 4 30 second soundbites, how can I be sure of anything?

If Kucinich wants to create
If Kucinich wants to create a new right, it must be done by Constitutional Amendment.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.
WRONG
God grants us our rights not congress
Did God grant us the law of
Did God grant us the law of the Jungle?
PS
I never said congress grants rights, Kucinich said that.
I do say that the Consititution grants some rights, and more can be added by amendment.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.
We have always had the right to see whomever we like
and to take whatever medicine we like. The State infringed that natural right and replaced it with the Medical Establishment Monopoly.
socialist...

He has. I posted this video 2 days ago.
He has lost it.
Kucinich: tax insurance profits $800B to pay for HC!
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/107606
i don't get his plan
the profits the insurance companies have now are coming from us paying premiums so in order for that to work we would still have to keep paying. As soon as we stop paying them, the money is gone. The insurance companies aren't just going to hand over their profits as a good will gesture. I don't get his plan whatsoever. Where is the money coming from?
Kucinich
never had it.
He was a socialist the whole time.
Im glad
you folks are finally realizing Kucinich is NOT a lover of liberty or freedom. Sure, he might be *against* corporatism, but he doesn't want to replace it with anything else except more statism. He's a statist through and through. Hardcore socialist at his core.
Yep
This is why RP is soooo much better than Kucinich.
Brad
Don't you think the government has this responsibility
since it has its shithooks into everything medical? They have conferred a monopoly on the practice of medicine and the manufacture and distribution of pharmaceuticals. When The State allows me to see my witch doctor and write my own prescriptions, THEN I'll entertain the notion that medical care is not a right (or to turn it around, not a responsibility of the government).
the mess we are in
is exactly why we don't want them anywhere near health care. The reform we seek is to get the government out of forcing state mandates and raising premiums and taking money from lobbyist to do their bidding.
Well I love Dennis for supporting the Constitution,
but this seems to be in direct contradiction to the Constitution.
