13 Billion is a drop in the bucket for China....

China wants a discount from the IMF for gold. I honestly believe they will get it. 13 Billion in US Dollars is nothing, and I am sure they will be able to buy this gold from the IMF. Please read this article:

China Wants IMF Gold, But Only at a Discount

China is considering buying gold being offered for sale by the International Monetary Fund, Market News International said on Monday, citing two unnamed government sources, but the report could not immediately be confirmed.

Here is the rest:

I strongly believe that a currency that is tied to gold, or silver will be the next reserve currency, and China is on their way to acheiving that very, very soon. Watch Gold, and silver, they will continue to rise. All you gold bugs, you will finally have your payday.

Everyone should get a discount for large purchases.

Why go to the IMF when they want to maximize the number of dollars they get. The IMF is cash poor and want to sell gold to the highest bidder, not the lowest.

Instead, the Chinese should try APMEX! (that's a joke)

We Can Blame Most Of Our Financial Troubles On The Fed!

I'm reading Ron Paul's end the fed book right now and he explains in simple terms how a paper monetary system without solid backing { Gold/Silver } ruins every country it's been used in through out history.

The founders knew what they were doing, with the Gold/Silver clause in the Constitution !

Right on, and...

Amen beesting....End the Fed, and we will all be liberated. Gold, and Silver, along with bartering is what we should be doing. Just think how much easier things would be without banks, and easy credit. Wow, we would not have the big bankers, and especially the investment bankers playing like they are at a casino anymore....

Damn...and they used to be happy with a few bowls of rice a day

Use to be until...

the Chinese realized what a bunch of idiots we have in our government, and in our banking system. Personally, I would love to move to Costa Rica, but unfortunately most of us have lost our savings in this freaking mess called the United States Depression, and yes, I say Depression, it has only begun by the way. My only hope is that the freaking U.S. dollar collapes, and my gold/silver is worth something, along with the properly I own here.
