"More than 250 Republicans have co-sponsored a bill by Representative Ron Paul of Texas that would allow the Government Accountability Office, an arm of Congress, to conduct “audits” of Fed decisions on monetary policy."

Huh? I thought republicans were in the minority in the 435 member House of Representatives...

Thanks everyone

I didn't know what to make of it, but with your input I can see it's pretty simple: they want to reframe it as a republican vs. democrat, right vs. left debate, and further divide us rather than unite us in what should be a non-partisan issue. I can't believe I was so blind!

must have been the same as

must have been the same as those 10's of thousands of protesters on 9/12?

2 million, 10's of thousand.. what ever~!

That's MSM for you lol

They watered the number down. My guess is they don't want the bill to pass.

Real eyes realize real lies

2012, we want our country back

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!

Not only that, they said over 250

REPUBLICANS, not members of congress. They are trying to frame it as D vs R.

If they ran a correction notice about it....

... I doubt anyone would even notice. Looks like the cheif editor didn't proof read it, or he/she's a O'bot and saw a great opportunity to let slip a lie.

They won't admit it has broad support with the D and R wings

of the party. It's funny that they don't say anything about the D co-sponsors and add the congress and senate bill co-sponsors as one group.

The Slimes

is low-balling the number.
