Glenn Beck: flag burning should not be illegal

Man, good to see this guy slowly become more libertarian--from his new interview with Katie Couric: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I973buqUGc&feature=channel

I Will Never Approve of Glenn Beck
But his flag burning comment is a big relief from the unbridled statist orgy going on in the anti-BOA threads.
I guess Glenn Beck is more libertarian than most folks at the DP. Who woulda thunk it?

Haha,
I'm not sure about that...but I haven't seen this anti-BOA thread...or maybe I have...I think that's the one that BarneyF posted. Sounded like the thread was about "supporting the (statist) troops ".
That's the Thread
But it's the flag wavers absolute refusal to recognize private property rights that got my goat.
My pet goat.

Glenn Beck
Is a fine entertainer. That is all.
I've put that phrase on many of the Glenn Beck threads only to illustrate that were he not a fine entertainer, he would not be on the air. Ratings are everything in radio and television. Just look at the number of shows on tv that never make it past two episodes.
I am not one who takes as gospel everything Glenn says. I find he is no more accurate than any other pundit. He simply illustrates his opinion by being both serious and absurd. One illustration on his absurdity is the ditty plugging his new book. If you have listened to his radio show the past few weeks you know which one.
As to the accuracy of his facts, I will not go to specifics, but rather offer my opinion that much of what he offers as fact is simply supposition, based on both fact and opinion, much like many of the other radio and tv pundits. He is no more accurate than Limbaugh, Hannity, or the venerated Larry King.
He does do one thing right that is little touched upon by most of the others. He suggests that each do their own homework. I do appreciate that.
Still, Glenn Beck is a fine entertainer, otherwise I would turn on country music during his time slot. 3 hours of Hank, George, and Cash is far better that a boring talk show.
Yup, he's a great entertainer
But he's also I think the big MSM head...and the closest big MSM head to the position of liberty.
all of a sudden..
the 'Do you like Glenn Beck and why?' thread is making more sense.
Still on the fence. Lets let this play out... We can still call him out. We have that power too...

Not many neocons realize the importance of protecting our liberty instead of the symbol.
