fishing for a damaging sound bite

It seems Fox's Cavuto was working for a sound bite by floating the word "cheap".

Ron and Rand

What a good interview!
I really enjoyed that.
I think the word cavuto was looking for was "thrifty".

Made me do something I hadn't done yet!

And that was get out my check book! To see how proud the doctor was of his son filled my heart with love, or 3voL. I hope Rand can beat the establishment!!!!!!!

They posted it on their youtube channel too. Almost no views of their videos, I hear their ratings were garbage, but wow. No one wants to watch them online either.

Here are a few more interviews with Ron Paul they posted

Ron Paul: New More Regulation

Ron Paul: Time to Audit the Fed

And Peter Schiff

Schiff: Not a Career Politician

How to Cure Healthcare Reform

Ron Paul must be a good father

Dr. Paul educated his children well. I hope more of them run!

Ron Looked So Proud

He just looked so proud of Rand during the entire interview. Always good to see either Paul in the news.

Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.

Hmph, I felt offended for the Pauls;

Ron Paul is one of the most generous of Congresspeople. Most of them load up on lobbyist goodies and take every cent they can wring from their positions. Ron Paul does not. He takes his responsibilities seriously and tries to give back to the people, their own money and their civil rights AND the right to a peaceful existence.
The two characteristically took the cheap jab with entire good grace.

Responded well to the Slimjims I passed out this past weekend for Rands Senate run.

The Repubs there are fed up with the Party.

We are behind you 100%. I would be so proud of Kentucky if they send Rand to Washington DC... and I'm not even from there!

Rand, if you're reading

Rand, if you're reading this, could you please smile more!!!!! :D You say great stuff, but you look a little nervous if you don't smile. People will warm up to you I'm sure.

I've noticed that Rand talks with his hands, which is something I happen to like, but I find it distracting in a television broadcast.

Aside from the fact

1) Cavuto didn't mention Rand's money bomb today, and
2) He called the Paul's cheap,

it was ok.

It is a shame that no one watches Fox Business, except on YouTube clips.

He's the man.

i did not like the 'cheap'

i did not like the 'cheap' comment either.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

- Calvin Coolidge

what's wrong with cheap?

that's who I want running my money. It made me proud actually. I know it's not cool to be cheap, but maybe it should be cool to be frugal if you are running for senate because you think spending is out of control. If my grandma heard that and didn't know anything about their positions she would vote for him on that alone. It works in my opinion.

Rand corrected him

The proper word is "Frugal", living within your means.

Cheap whore... frugal whore

Feel the difference?

It's why calling the Paul's "cheap" did not suit Ron or Rand, but that is what Cavuto implied them on being by employing the term "cheap"

I thought Fox News had more

I thought Fox News had more viewers than several of the other news networks combined? With Beck & O'Reilly, I think that network is on a roll.

Good points

Seems he's used to people buying his attention, like Sarah Palin and other RP body snatchers?

What! Cheap!

Since when did living within your means become "cheap"?

since our paper money system took off?

Compared to the staggering figures one hears these days, and has been hearing for years now, living within one's means seems paltry...cheap. I mean, why live within your means when there's so much money out there to spend, um, borrow into circulation? Maybe this is why living within your means is considered cheap these days. Hopefully it will be no longer in the days to come. ie END the FED.

Ron Paul is my President

'that you are cheap.'

Im still laughing!

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Wow...that was great

Kinda fluffy but nice to see. One can see Ron's delight with Rand, it's that proud fatherly look. These guys are great.

Ron Paul is my president

Thanks IP

That was a great interview. Would have been nice to have heard about the money-bomb...although it seems to be doing quite well nevertheless.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

Michael Nystrom's picture

Not a single mention of Rand's money bomb by Cavuto

Hey Cavuto - how about reporting the NEWS?

He's the man.

The news?

that would make him a journalist.

Joη's picture

Breaking news! Frugal politician found!

See? They could've made it news, but no.

I don't know what that was I just watched. Irrelevant questions were asked, and kind-of-answers were given. ...Wha?

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

My sentiment....

exactly....very sweet interview.
