it is hard for me personally to talk to reality deniers when it comes to 911. To watch what appears to be an otherwise normal adult twist themselves into knots explaining how I should be able to weld with a candle, how gravity is situational... how thier government has lied to them about everything else... but OH NOT THIS. How do you treat someone like this seriously?

If this was "a "very ordinary thing to happen" how come 1) this type of collapse never happened anywhere else, even when the circumstances were similar, as in the plane hitting the Windsor building in Milan 2) the designers of the building, who specifically had in mind the possibility of a plane hitting it when they drew the plans, somehow got their own calculations all wrong? OR did they know about this vulnerability, and yet they failed to remediate the structural weaknesses and deliberately neglected to warn the occupants?
In that case, why aren't they being sued?

Column 79 is nowhere near any physical debris damage....what removed (removed, that's the words used) what removed the column? A burning desk?

Even if I concede that this "official" version of 7 is correct, which I don't happen to believe, I'm still faced with 3 buildings all dropping dead within hours. Even if I concede that impossibility I'm faced with the Pentagon. There should be no argument that all these events are linked. If I find evidence of cover-up concerning one event, it's likely to include all four events or five actually (WTC 1 2 & 7, Pent., Shanks)

It has a nice picture that supposedly shows where debris damage happened. It is inconsisntent with what the NIST report on WTC7 says:

to gain a better understanding of it. Those of us who try and prove it was an inside job by interpreting the physical evidence are doomed to falling into fruitless debates that boil down to, "The experts I'm citing are better than your experts." It's a quagmire.

I honestly don't know how anyone in their right mind can think those towers collapsed without the assistance of a tremendous amount of explosives, but that is beside the point. We all have to look at 9-11 from a broader perspective.

Let's take your little example. The resistance against the weight coming down would at the very least cause the weight to be pushed away once it bonked you on the head. it wouldn't make your body explode and turn to dust so that the weight could split you like a banana.
Compute the resistance against the weakened section above impact area and then calculate all of the structural steel beneath the impact area that was completely unharmed. That alone would slow the collapse or cause an asymmetric collapse. This did not occur. What we saw was the upper section falling through the lower part of the building at near free fall speeds.

What was done to "recreate" the removal of column 79?
Column 79 was far removed from any impact damage, there wasn't even a massive amount amount of jet fuel burning in the building. So am I to believe column 79 failed, let me rephrase that, "was removed" from burning office equipment?

So he is saying that one column failed due to extreme heat which caused the entire building to collapse into itself.

where any one beam was responsible for the integrity of THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE. One good gust of wind and there she goes. Wondering how the author of this paper explains the vast amounts of unaccounted for thermetic material found in and on everything around the WTC on 9/11.

Something else that puzzles me is all the (steel metallic) vehicles that were burnt beyond recognition for blocks surrounding these collapses. All that hit these vehicles was the tidal wave of pulverized concrete. How in a pancake collapse scenario is this explained ? Or for that matter the molten metal in the basements...Don't try and wiggle here I lived there a LONG time and know for a fact this is the case.
