Republicans adopt Ron Paul's message with something missing

Trouble is it won't work! One must do more than study the words of another in order to embrace a new philosophy. Beck, Palin, Romney even Ann Coulter are all now sounding like avid Ron Paul supporters, although seldom giving credit where it is due.
Glen Beck has been making headlines for himself recently by denouncing the Republican party and making statements that he would have voted for Hillary Clinton over McCain. He even went so far as to draft five pledges a candidate should make in order to show himself "for the people". However, a close inspection of these pledges reveals that either Beck does not "get it" or he is a spokesman for the current Republican party which is desparate to regain its conservative support...
Ron Paul's message is simple, People First! While the Republicans may be attempting to co-opt this message they continue to cling to their agendas of war, federal empowerment and bribery. The co-dependent media anchors and authors have a vested interest in contributing to the party's success. After all, they have built a career around it.
Ron Paul is the litmus test, the standard. His message has been the same for over thirty years. His funds are supplied by his constituents. He maintains a simple lifestyle and he defends the Constitution whether it is popular or not, regardless of personal gain. We need to do what is right for America! We need liberty for all, justice for all, respect for all. What we do not need from our government is patronization, control and co-dependence. Government is meant to be servant, not master!

I agree and there is no one that could carry the message
as well as RP. However, we must remember, it is not RP the person, that we are supporting, it is the constitutional principles that we seek to be restored and officially put back in office.

To those who bash the pretenders like Beck, Palin, and others. They may be trying to ride the coattails of truth, but their embrace of the truth WILL begin the awakening process.
Sure...they are trying to co-opt the message, but once people get a taste and start to see the 'Matrix of Lies' for what it is...they will search deeper. We have all had our moment of awakening and it is a scary process.
The very fact that the real issues are being brought out into the limelight is HUGE! People will start to research...the truth will reveal itself to many and the movement will grow and grow. The pretenders may be trying to capitalize on this trend(typical politicians), trying to make a profit off of it, or even trying to co-opt it...but they will fail ultimately. Truth in the end does win...they are helping us even though they do not know it.
Keep up the good fight...To the Republic...remember...Fortune Favors the Bold!

You can see 'they' are losing ground especially when they have their 'talking heads' attempting to co-opt something, that, if left to itself would be extremely popular across the board hands down. Simply by what comes out of these 'posers' mouths, one can deduce and imagine them being briefed about how they will 'handle' the Ron Paul thingy! ha ha
You can see they have been given their marching orders. No longer will they 'oppose' him, instead they will seemingly 'agree' with him, while slipping in just another false premise so unwary ones out there can 'take the medicine' in a little smoother.
These folks are are the worst form of moral debauchery.
Co-opting is nothing new. Those controlling humans on this planet for thousands of years have always used co-opting very effectively. Clue: Look at all the mythology in history, especially mythology used by the 'Church'.
Well people, we are arranging for battle with all that is 'unsound' in all its forms. The days of 'Belial' are coming to a rapid conclusion. 'They' know this and it looks like their last ditch efforts are failing terribly.
The gig is up on all this disgusting, immoral, false world that has been intricately harnessed to human life, and its required human sacrifices on a multitude of levels.
Good riddance to this 'death cult' already! The sooner, the better.

you're looking at this from the right perspective. We are entering new territory in the movement. We are entering the moment where all our work can be compromised if we don't keep our voices in the mix. We need to begin promoting solutions that will require all of us taking action to stabilize our message and prevent it from being molested by these otherwise political hacks.

Seems like people are finally seeing what is really going on
All these commentators are co-opting the message without respect for
the messenger. As if the ideas just struck them from the sky. It would
be nice for them to give credit where credit is do. However, this will not likely happen unless we, the grassroots, push for it. This is the second article that I've read pointing out this fact in some way. The Salon article by Greenwald was also excellent in revealing this albeit much more subtly.
So what can we do?
I suggest we make this one of our big priorities in order to ensure our message lives on in the right context. What I would like to see is some kind of effort to call in to these shows and point out the fact that these peoples ideas aren't new and we had a candidate running in 2008 who supported this message. Subsequently that messenger has helped inspire more to stand up for these principles and they need our support now! We should start hitting the airwaves with the force of our e-mails and phone calls like we did during the campaign. For every comment like this that goes without giving credit to the movement we send a legion of responses. An effort like this will keep us in the peoples psyche. We should continue to post whenever they try to co-opt us and recognize it as such. Stop name calling and accusing people of promoting neocons or some cointelpro conspiracy. Just act by contacting these talking heads, on the air if possible, and point out what they left out. Who's with me?

In Hong Kong, Palin Describes Her “Common Sense Conservativism”
All in all, sounds like the speech most of us hoped she would give. She slams Obama and praises Reagan and Thatcher. An excellent debut. The NYT quotes an attendee as having the impression Palin was positioning herself as more of a “libertarian or a small-c conservative.”

I would suggests that we put our media watchdog machine back into overdrive. This worked wonders for us during the campaign and will have even greater precision today with our numbers growing and messengers receiving much limelight.
Can we get a call in program started on the Daily Paul where we can log on and see who's saying what, call and e-mail the shows and leave our comments. If we could only do this as it is happening. If we can pre-empt some radio interviews, throw the numbers out there, and call in as some of these people like Beck, Palin, or whoever tries to co-opt our message. Just a friendly reminder to them to be honest and that we support the position that they have finally found.

When I saw the thread title, I knew it was Ron Paul's name they refuse to name in reference to their newfound arguments. I bet Dr Paul doesn't mind too much, as long as they use his message with it's true meaning intact and not use it for political brownie points and not even know what Dr. Paul's message really means in the first place.
