Sarah Palin: Maximal Presence in Afghanistan

0 votes

In the half-year or so we have seen Sarah Palin move from a neoconservative McCain-loving act to a more libertarian, small government more freedom act. I believe many have started to actually believe Palin could be part of the Ron Paul liberty movement. We must not forget her roots and remember what she stands for and always will stand for: neocons and establishment republicans. No matter what she says about the fed or freedom, do not believe her! It is clearly an act.

“It was not accidental [the 1929 stock-market “crash”]. It was a carefully contrived occurrence. ... The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so that they might emerge as rulers of us all.”

“We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it."

"The Federal Reserve banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by the International bankers."

"Some [Most] people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government's institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers.- Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa),
Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency

What some don't understand

What some don't understand is that you can't just invoke perfect Libertarianism all at once and expect it to work. Its a great philosophy and one I agree with, but unfortunately the world doesnt work that way right now. You cant just pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and the rest of the world and immediately try and adopt a non-interventionist strategy. If we tried to do everything at once right now, everything would fall apart. The biggest challenge is you have to change the world so that its part of the social culture to understand and believe in the philosophy.

It shouldnt be so hard to understand that Palin might actually have some Libertarian leanings. This isn't false, she's from Alaska. If you knew anything about Alaska you would know that it has historically had some very strong Libertarian tendencies.

What you need to worry about is anyone that has been tapped on the shoulder by the power structure, and vote against it. The day Palin become popular again and raises millions of dollars in a campaign, you know she's been corrupted.

Thats how they do this. Slowly. The aristocracy embraces someone, introduces them to the big money, and then calls in very specific and concise favors. Things that are important to their goals. Its just a tweak, and nudge here and there. The candidate probably for the most part can vote their conscious, except on the things they have been directed to by the people that set up their campaign. Stuff like NAFTA, or the transnational corridor ..

Being from Alaska myself...

I actually have hope for her, but she has to prove herself to me personally before she gets my support. I spent 22 years in Alaska, and most people up there are used to taking care of themselves. Most do not depend on the government for support. The resources, such as oil actually contribute to the economy, or use to when I was there. There are not too many homeless people, or those that depend on government aid. When I move to California 9 years ago I was in total shock at how many depended on Uncle Sam, is it that way throughout the rest of the Country? Alaska is different, as I said before folks do not depend on the government to take care of them, they are old time Americans, and take care of themselves. I would give everything I have right now to live up there again, and I might do that very soon, just waiting for my youngest to get a good college education, and pray that it will be enough for her.

Homeless in Alaska...

is that like sleepless in Seattle? I guess there aren't that many homeless in Alaska because it's difficult to be without a home when it's 30 below zero. They are frozen stiff!

You are so right usndoc1964...

that means if you can't take care of yourself, you die, or just suffer. Too bad more Americans don't understand that way of thinking.

Right...

On!

It appears

that Sarah is a great big faker to many here and to me as well. Sarah would be the first to back Israel if it attacks Iran. She believes the whole Revelation doomsday scenario and would welcome the chance to play a part in this play of theirs.

Palin will mimic Ron Paul just enough to confuse and divide

our movement and allow us to unwittingly help her win the GOP primaries. The posts in this thread are preliminary evidence.

"Be wary of those who know the truth. Align yourself with those who are questing for the truth." L. Gardner

"Be wary of those who know the truth. Align yourself with those who are questing for the truth." L. Gardner

Exactly!

I keep thinking that some of these neo-cons are using RP-type rhetoric in order to dry to divide us....then conquer us.

Look at the confused Beck people out there that think he's some kind of hero.....

There are lots of sheeple out there that will believe whatever they see on TV.

In my little town the Palin sentiment was ..

there were many republicans, some even from the County GOP executive committee who could not bring themselves to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket because of the lack of intelligence on the Palin portion.

Sadly some of these individuals...

cheered for McCain. Yes, it's absolutely crazy I know.

Why couldn't Carla Howell from the Center For Small Government run for public office? Now there's a woman who I really could get behind! Maybe We The People should encourage her to run!

They are polishing her up nicely...

before presenting her to the U.S.A. But still a Neo-Con to the core.

She is betting her political future on

the hearts of Republican still belonging to the neocons, but she's hedging her bets a little, using Dr. Paul's true principles as sound bites to ride on the coattails of his popularity.
Palin is a plague, and if the Republicans don't kill off that vile infection, they will deservedly die off as the evildoers they've spent the last previous 8 years being.

I like

Sarah Palin. McCain used her and I give her credit for taking a stand. No I don't agree with everything she says but at least she takes a stand. I don't agree with everything Ron Paul says, but I admire him and he takes a stand. When men refuse to do what's right - God will raise a woman up, look at Deborah from the book of judges. Granted, Ron Paul stood up, he was mocked and now who has the last laugh? Ron Paul - my hero.

So who is the fool ? I 'm not promoting, just being observant.

Good people do Good deeds
Good people make it happen

Being used by McCain would

Being used by McCain would make her stupid. Using McCain would make her evil. Either way, my opinion of her doesnt change much.

She got her name out...

She got her principles out, and now she has 4 years to get some stout behind her. She is currently going down the path that Gore did, she is giving speeches in China, not everyone gets to that. I think she might be the right choice with a Schiff as President, and Palin as VP. or better yet a Ron Paul, or Rand Paul/Schiff, or Rand Paul/Palin. We could have the best of both worlds. Folks that can get things done, along with folks that people can understand. Damn even Mish has given Kudos to Schiff, and Paul.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Well, I guess he called that one.

I need some help here

Didn't we make it possible for the Afghanis to drive Russia from their country? Didn't they appreciate what we did for them? Weren't they fierce warriors who just needed weapons comparable to the Russians, & we provided them?

Well now, why aren't our enemies their enemies? Why aren't they taking out the Taliban? Why can't we just give them more weapons & let them do the job without us taking over their country?

Sarah stinks & the whole world is turned upside down. Hardly anyone makes sense. I actually thought Ahmadinejad's speech yesterday was good. That's how warped I've become.

When you find an answer to your questions....

"Well now, why aren't our enemies their enemies? Why aren't they taking out the Taliban? Why can't we just give them more weapons & let them do the job without us taking over their country?",
also try to find out what happened to the "Peace Dividend" they promissed for winning the Cold War.

What can be said of a people who would sell their own children into slavery, using the rational that it is to protect their freedom?

Didn't HW Bush promise "no

Didn't HW Bush promise "no peace dividend"

Don't remember him saying that but

I do remember him saying that Iraq's "liberation" would be paid for by their own oil.

Because the Taliban wouldn't allow our pipeline and protect it.

It's about the oil and the pipeline and the drugs. Remember Iran Contra.

Sarah Palin is thinking of

Sarah Palin is thinking of running for President in 2010. If the idiot Republican establishment nominates her they'll be handing another easy victory to the Democrats.

Running for President in 2010?

Palin said that's what she's considering? haha, that would be classic. I can't wait to see the Palin 2010 bumperstickers. lmao

That's for sure...

If Sarah runs in 2010, you can COUNT ON at least two more years of Barack Obama.

Somebody had to say it... I couldn't resist-
