What's the best state to live in and WHY?

Considering Kevin's earlier comment about maybe leaving the country - I'd like to see if we can help Kevin with some ideas. What state do you think is the best state to live in and why? I appreciate everyone who makes real suggestions - thanks. » |

California is out of money and water
The state is drying out 1000's of fires every year and in permanent drought
living there is unsustainable for the long term. Unless they reforest the rain forest to bring back the rains which they will not do and stop spending beyond their means they are going down.

I can confirm it is possible with extreme effort to squeak out a meager living in the state of New Jersey. All you have to do is pay the state sales tax, the state income tax, the highest property taxes in the country, and the highest car insurance rates in the country. And don't drink the water in Hudson County.

is the message of the anti-Christ first. He takes all messages of Jesus/God. If you are following one of the new age 'religions,' your peace and love will take you down the wrong path right into the hands of the NWO. This is a fight of bad vs good and they both speak the same language in order to confuse. You have to distinguish peace and love. Earthly 'love' can have its failings and peace cannot happen at the destruction of true Christianity or else there is no freedom of religion. Christians are accused of not being tolerant, because it is the other way around. Christians support free will, but the NWO doesn't. The NWO supports all, all but ONE religion, true Christianity. That should be a huge awakening for those who are following new age or any other 'religion' besides true Christianity. Christianity has also been hijacked, and those people say, 'peace and love.'

however are you suggesting that "True Christianity" is the one "right" religion? Are you aware that our religions and belief systems are cultural constructs? I realize the religious implications of the nwo, but just because someone does not accept one religious ideology, or chooses to support another, does not mean they support the nwo. Of course, many support the nwo ideology without even knowing it. The nwo uses every ideology to subvert the minds of the people who accept them. That's why no matter which belief system we accept, we must be ready to recognize the nwo's presence.

Seriously, in our "banana belt" you can raise all the food you need yourself, you can go stake a gold claim and actually get gold off of it, you can get involved with a very spirited liberty movement, and if you need work you can help us get our business going - we are reforming healthcare in our world without Obama. We actually CARE about people and know something about HEALTH.... I know, I know, we are nuts...
I have lived in Ohio, Arkansas, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, and spent a lot of time in New York and Pennsylvania. For weather, people, and recreational opportunities, nothing holds a candle to Idaho.

Montana and maybe even Wyoming would be decent, but Idaho has the same spirit plus some. I'm not from Idaho...Oregon actually but did a stint in Idaho when I was in the military.
Low population, great hunting, very good laws on guns, many survivalist types that are good people as well as ranchers and farmers. The weather is not as 'cold and nasty' as Montana(great state).
Don't forget that Idaho had the highest percentage vote for Ron Paul if I remember right. Also I believe their taxes are pretty low.

Great home privacy laws
great gun laws (open or concealed carry anywhere in the state with out a license)
no state income taxes, no state sales taxes (though a couple towns have 2-5% sales tax) in fact, one of the only states that pay's you for living there (as long as you intend on being a perm. resident)
financialy self sustaining and stable state, we have billions in the bank
plus we are so far "out of the way" that if any crazy NWO shit goes down we will be last on the priority list, great state to be a vet in.
18-20+ hours of sunlight in the summer ( of course, as little as 4 in the winter)
great liberty state all in all, though honestly texas has the best land ownership laws which is very appealing.
